Heart racing and mind still replaying the day's events, she changed her clothes, washed her face and hopped under the covers. So many questions bombarded her. Was he really going to call? Maybe he realized that he was just caught up in the moment or maybe he had not been around a girl in awhile and just needed some physical action?

She knew better than the latter because he always had some girl in his life that would give it up. Was that what he thought of her? The harsh realization that he might have thought that she was one of his groupies to do with what he might and toss her away began to dampen the happiness and hope in her heart.

Seeing her taillights down the road, all Ryan could do was fight his desire to follow her home for one more kiss, one more hug, one more look into her ocean blue eyes. Today had been one of the most amazing days. When he planned on coming to visit today, he could not have imagined the way she drew him in with her innocent smiles yet confident mystery. It surprised him. He always knew that she had a crush on him which made her adorable then, but something changed along the way. That damn picture from the wedding. Since then he was toast. Her beauty haunted his dreams. She was gorgeous and did not even know it. He dialed her number, "Hey, Rach. Are you ok?"

His voice sent chills through her body and made her relive each touch on her skin and lips from earlier. With a deep breath, she answered, "Hello. I think so." Others may call her Rach, but it was magical when he did and it always made her feel so special. This was all surreal to her and no matter how hard she was trying to be practical, her heart was jumping for joy and begging for more. She would do anything to be in his arms again and gaze into those endless blue eyes. Her world was changing so fast that she barely had time to breath.

He grew quiet as he replayed the night's events in his mind, but snapped out of his memories as she spoke, "Ryan, are you asleep?" She couldn't hear if he was even on the line and his silence made her nervous.

Her curse was worrying and over thinking situations, but before her mind shifted to far there was that voice again, "No, no. I am here. Sorry I was just thinking. Are you ok? I hope you are because Rach, I didn't plan on tonight and I hope you are ok. I never want to make you uncomfortable or hurt you. I enjoyed being with you more than you know and wish I still had you in my arms." He was worried about scaring her and making sure she was good.

Finally she was able to speak, "I wish you were here too. I cannot explain how happy I am that you walked into my kitchen this morning. I am glad I didn't get letter until today. I have to admit I feel like I am in a dream and am afraid to wake up. This is all so new and exciting and I am not sure if I am dreaming or not. I am afraid to go to sleep and wake up to realize that it was yet another fantasy." She was obviously overwhelmed; he saw it in her eyes when she left. He wanted to see her one last time and feel her sweet lips pressed to his and reassure her. He didn't see this coming either. He had already started walking toward her house when he called.

"Go to your window Rach, I need to see you." Thankfully her house was a one story. She opened her blinds and raised the window in time for him to reach up and pull her face to him pressing her lips in a rhythmic embrace. He pulled back and whispered as to not wake mom and dad. Neither one of them needed that drama tonight.

Her hands in his, he gently kissed them, "you are so amazing and I want to know if I can take you on a date tomorrow? Today has caught us both off guard and I just want more time with you and we need to talk more but not now. If you have plans already then I guess we can figure a different time."

As he started down that road she saved him with a hug and whispered in his ear, "You can have me anytime tomorrow. I would love to go out with you again. I was going to go to an exhibition basketball game tomorrow night at school, but I can miss that."

Her innocent words excited him in ways that he was sure she did not realize, and if she was any other girl he would have climbed in that window and had his way with her, but not this time. Not this one. Instead, he gave her one last kiss as he left.

"We can do that too. I will call you tomorrow. Goodnight." When he got back to his grandmothers he crawled into bed and let his mind explore whatever thoughts about Rach that it wished, and he slept.
