The scary truth

I sit in the limo as we make our way toward Jacky's house, I am currently wearing a blue long-sleeve dress shirt just to hide the new branding make I have on my arm and I am completely terrified of what can happen tonight, Mom and dad were glad I didn't die but they are a little concerned about me including jacky into our little family business but they understand my feelings towards her and bruce just gave me an hour-long lecture about how I fucked up and needed to just be grounded and act as support but he can kiss my ass because hell he told Selena when he trusted her and well it turned out fine. I feel the limo stop so I take a deep breath and I get out of the limo and walk toward the door, I went to knock but something in my heart tells me not to go through with telling her just to have fun tonight but I made up my mind I have to do this for this nightmare to just end, I knock on the door and backed away two steps to not be super close to the door when it opens and when it open's I see Harley and jacky, making a smile form across my face as Harley hugs me" Hi you must be mister Grayson, it is very nice to meet you, my daughter talks about you all the time and yes I know what your thinking, I put that behind me so don't worry just don't break her heart". I try not to act surprised when Harley said that because that means she finally told jacky and that just makes me happy inside I hug back" nice to meet you as well miss Quinnzel and I wasn't thinking anything too strange but I can tell you where your daughter gets her beauty from and speaking of which you look so beautiful, Jacky" Harley lets me go and Jacky jumps into me for a hug and I hug her tight, Jacky then places a kiss on my cheek" come on let's go before it gets any later and the restaurant closes". Jacky lets go and walked towards the limo and I turn quickly to Harley" I'm so happy you finally told her the secret you were holding from her and now I guess it's my turn now so wish me luck, texts Babs and she will tell you everything" I quickly caught up with jacky and opened the limo door for her and we heard Harley yell" you two be careful tonight please and don't do anything too crazy" I got into the limo and we started to drive off, I was sitting next to Jacky holding hand and she then moves and sits on my lap" so where are were going exactly so I know what type of manners to have". I chuckle and laugh" you can be your complete and goofy self my love I got us our own table in a private area so we don't get to worry about paparazzi" She kisses me deeply and passionately then pulls away" aww didn't want the press to know about you having somebody of your own to love forever" I smile and just shake my head" no I don't mind that but it would ruin dinner for everybody else with thousands of camera flashes disturbing them, I could care less if people knew my love, it just takes a lot of patience to deal with the media sometimes" I hold her close to me and I can feel her heartbeat beating along with my own heart and I fell the car start to slow down and Alfred opened the door with a smile" Master Grayson and Miss Quinnzel we made it to our destination, The restaurant Ocelot awaits you two and I will be here when you give me a call master Grayson". I help Jacky out of the car and I hear multiple cameras going off, so I look at alfred with a smile" Thanks alfred, why don't you just go home for the night we don't have that long of a walk for the other surprise" alfred nodded and got back in the car and drove off as me and Jacky were walking inside the restaurant, as soon as we were in it was all eyes on us and I can see that Jacky was scared so I intertwined my fingers with hers and led her to our little private area where it had a little jukebox on the corner playing soft music, I pull Jacky's seat out and once she sat down I pushed her close to the table and I sat in front of her just smiling while she read her menu.

(start music now)A waiter came up with a smile on his face" Well hello mister Grayson glad to see you here again how can I help you two tonight" I used my hand to gesture towards Jacky and she smiled and blushed" I would like to try the gourmet pizza and I would like a coke to please" The waiter writes that down then looks at me ready for my order" I will have the wagyu steak and a coke as well please" the waiter nodded his head and left leaving me and Jacky with the soft music, So I got up and walked over to jacky and held my hand out" care to dance my love" she grabs my hand and stands up putting her arms around my neck while I place my hands on her hips and we slow dance for what felt like twenty minutes before our food showed up, we sat at the table just eating and laughing at each other. Once we were done with dinner I gave the waiter the money and a forty-dollar tip and we walked outside of the restaurant and we went into an alley that led to a park where I have Jason's motorcycle waiting for us, we got to the motorcycle and I gave her the helmet for her safety and we took off to my secret hillside spot by Wayne manor, once we got there I parked the bike and I helped Jacky off and we sat on the edge staring at the stars before she leaned her head on me" Wyatt I'm glad I met you, since the first day I met you I didn't know I could fall so hard for a boy, who is mysterious and handsome" I smiled and I stood up taking a deep breath" Jacky I brought you out here for a reason and that is I want to include you into my families loop we have for a big secret that you can't tell anybody okay". She stood up and placed her hands on my face" I promise not to tell a soul darling I swear on my life and to seal it we can pinky promise" she held out her pinky and I wrapped my pinky around hers and exhaled before taking a step back and starting to take my shirt off revealing my costume and she sits there with a smile on her face" so that's the secret you're a fanboy of nightstar that's not a big secret my love" I shook my head and made myself start to float in the air with my starbolts in my hand" you misunderstood my love I am nightstar I am the one who protects the innocent at night with the bat family and I got a curse on me but I wont affect me at all" her jaw looks like it wants to fall to the floor and I float next to her reaching my hand out" come on let me show you the skies of Gotham from my view". She reached for my hand in awe and wonder, I picked her up bridal style and held her close then we started to fly around Gotham, we stopped at different areas that made Gotham look beautiful from the sky then I flew into the clouds where you can see the true beauty of the moon without the clouds being in the way, She then placed her hand around the back of my head and pulled me in for a kiss and I let myself fully succumb to my emotions while kissing her as we floated down from the sky. we landed at her house where Harley was in the backyard talking to her sister, I fly to her window and she opens it and climbs inside, I go to leave and I feel her grab my hand" please stay wyatt I don't think my mom would mind as long as we don't do anything bad" I smile and kiss her hand" Ill come back later my love I have to go take my uncle Jason his motorcycle back then I will come back here and spend the night with you". I flew away heading back to my spot only to find Arella and Mia waiting for me there along with superman and raven, I landed in front of them with my guard up just in case this was clones or brainwashing but then Superman comes up and puts his hand on my shoulder" im sorry we have to do this son" I feel raven and Arella use their magic to bind me in chains and superman comes over with a collar" this is going to kill your powers and we will have to take you to OA to be trained this is what your parents and bruce want" I try to use my strength to try and break the chains but they make them stronger" please guys this isn't what I want guys I want to, I can control my anger trust me I've done it before please".

Superman keeps approaching with the collar and I feel this headache forming then I shoot what seemed like my starbolt out of my eyes that hit superman square in the chest and I break free from the chains" guys please stand down I don't want to hurt yall please, you are family to me don't do this" I then hear the batmobile pull up and then bruce and Selena get out then my mom flies in with my dad, they surround me and I just close my eyes" I don't want it to be like this please don't make me fight back and hurt all of you". My mom flies up to me and puts a hand on my shoulder" son this is the best course of action hun because we have all seen trigons power and we don't need you falling under his control and become a threat we will have to take down" I push her hand off my shoulder" how many villains have tried that and I broke free from it, nobody will control me mom trust me, please I just told Jacky this secret I don't want to abandon her, especially now since im going to spend more time with her". I see my mom create her starbolts and I put my head down, then I pull out my phone and send a text to jacky" hey won't be able to come tonight I might be getting sent to OA but just know I love you a lot my love till I see you again" I put my phone back in my utility belt then I kick my mom towards my dad and made starbolts into my hands and started throwing them at bruce and selena then towards superman and mia, I then flew towards Raven and Arella but I felt my head being invaded and I fell to the floor holding my head, it felt like I was being ripped in half and I look to see arella in her demon form" im sorry wyatt but this is for your own good" I grab a rock from the ground and I throw it hitting her in the head breaking her focus I then rush towards her and knock her out then I felt bullets hit me and I turn around to see jason and barbara. I see barbara has tears in her eyes" wyatt please just come quietly we will take care of jacky we know it will be hard to be away from each other but you must trust us on this please don't make us hurt you we love you and we are doing this for everybody when you used your anger, you almost died and you also have the curse wyatt just let them take you to OA" I look at them both and jason looks like he wants to cry and ive only seen him cry once and he is then I shouldnt continue fighting" I will go without a fight but just allow me to spend the night with jackie because im pretty sure I am not going to see her for awhile" everybody looked at each other and superman steps up" that sounds like a plan considering yall will barely be able to talk since we dont have any long range communication without using the watch tower" everybody nodded their head and I flew into the air, leaving them all there and I flew to jackie's house and she was outside with harley and her aunt sitting by a fire I smiled as I flew down and sending a text to jackie" hey im at your front door it would be nice if you open it so I can hang out with you for one more night" I stood there with an uneasy feeling and jackie opened the door and hugged me" I thought u couldnt come tonigh" I hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead" I made a compromise so I leave tomorrow". I see harley in the kitchen with her sister and they have their phones out and im pretty sure they are recording, Jackie pulled away from me and she grabbed my hand" come on we were about to make smore's and I know how much u love sweets" I smiled and chuckled, before I even got to say anything harley yelled" no we dont mind just get back here lover boy" I close the door and lock it then jackie drags me to the back with a big smile on her face and she puts me in the chair she was sitting in and then sits on my lap, we made smore's while talking about life then we started telling stories, well they told stories I just sat there listening and smiling then I look at jackie and see that she had fallen asleep in my arms, I keep her close and harley is sitting there smiling" she really loves you alot sweetheart even knowing your secret made her fall more in love because she folled yur adventures when they came out throught the news".  I smiled and kissed her forehead" I know she loves me alot that why I hate how im being forced to go to OA but I know its a good reason to send me because my rage this last battle almost got me killed so I need to control it and the curse im dealing with doesnt help me either so I need to go" Harley got up and stertched" I understand and well us old poeple need to go to bed let me show you where her room is" I get up holding jackie and she shifts to wrap her arms around my neck while we walk to her room once we get there Harley opens the door" this door stays open okay its not I dont trust yall but its mostly because this is a bad neighbor hood and if anything happens I will need to be able to rush in here" I nod my head and harley walks away and I lay Jackie in the bed and I got to sleep on the floor but she grabs my hand" Its okay the beds big enough for the both of us" I lay in bed next to her and she lays her head on my chest and falls slowly back to sleep while I start to doze off before hearing a voice" you will become my right hand boy and you are going to like it" I shake my head and fall asleep.
