It turned dark and the Avengers talked in kitchen, not hearing the front door open and someone walk in. They were too deep in conversation they hadn't even noticed the black haired girl standing in the living room, watching them whilst continuing wipping around her mouth that was still covered in blood. Maybe animal blood won't feed her but it's good enough to keep her stable."Ultron's got an enemy. That's not the same thing. Still, I'd pay folding money to know who it is." Fury said, again holding a glass of some liquid in hand.
"I might need to visit Oslo. Find our unknown." She heard Stark say from somewhere around corner, her being unable to see him.
"Well, this is good times, boss, but I was kind of hoping when I saw you, you'd have more than that." Natasha intervened, giving a look to Fury that was once her boss.
"I do. I have you. Back in the day, I had eyes everywhere. Ears, everywhere else. You kids had all the tech you could dream up. Here we all are, back on Earth, with nothing but our wit and our will to save the world. Good you finally decided to join us, Fang, we missed you dearly." Everyone turned their eyes the way Fury looked, seeing a figure standing in shadows, but they right away know who is it.
"I don't remember letting you call me by names, Fury." Evelyn stepped from the dark corner, wiping the last bit of blood that was on her chin and stood in front of her best friend that was leaning against wall, leaning back so her back hit his chest. Chuckling to himself at her clingy mood, he lazily wrapped his arms around her shoulders. He know she's not telling him something and tries to hide it, but didn't push in.
"But you never forbade me. Anyway, Ultron says the Avengers, including you Fang, are the only thing between him and his mission. And whether or not he admits it, his mission is global destruction. All this, laid in grave. So stand. Outwit the platinum bastard." Fury finished and sat at the table on Natasha's left.
"Steve doesn't like that kind of talk." Natasha smirked at the blonde man holding his best friend in his arms.
"You know what, Romanoff?" Steve gave her playful glare at her teasing him, not understanding how can it still be funny to them.
"So, what does he want?" Fury look up at Steve then at others, question in his eye.
"To become better. Better than us. He keeps building bodies." Steve answer to Fury.
"Person bodies." Tony added. Evelyn zoned out again for a while, into her mind coming the Maximoff twins. She hope they will stop helping Ultron and instead help them, who knows, maybe they'll even become members of Avengers. The talk she had with Pietro, she hope he thought about it and changed his mind and also tried to convince his sister.
Evelyn snapped out at the sentence where Bruce said humans need to evolve and asked if someone been in contact with Helen Cho. The next thing she know is everyone are walking around, getting ready to leave. Shrugging her shoulders, she also speed into the room to change back into her black clothes she came here in and went back down, making sure she didn't forget to pack Clint's flannel.
"If Ultron's really building a body-" She heard Steve begin, before Tony finished his sentence. "He'll be more powerful than any of us. Maybe all of us. An android designed by a robot."
"You know, I really miss the days when the wierdest thing science ever created was me." Steve and Tony stopped in hallway, face to face.
"And I really miss the times when I wasn't dead." They turned their heads towards their friend approaching them, putting her headphones around her neck and fixing her hood. "But times changes. And I would be glad to have back what belongs to me and help him."
