Wills pov:

Some time passed after Joyce came running down the stairs to set out the fire. She ended up having to make another turkey after forcing Mike out of the kitchen even though he kept saying sorry and that he could cook another one.We where all in the living room, El was sitting next to max next to the fire place, and I was sitting next to Mike on the couch.We where closer than I expected Mike to sit next to me and I couldn't help but notice he was in a great mood."Hey Mike, how has your life been?" I asked trying to start a conversation, he turned his head to look at me with a smile plastered across his face."Great! I have been having a great time a school and I'm not having to hard of a time with making new friends." He said in a happy yet soft tone."That's great! I'm glad your making new friends and stuff!" I said nudging him slightly."Do you have any plans tomorrow?" He questioned tapping his foot up and down."Yeah actually, I was thinking me, you, El and max could all go ice skating!" I said putting my hands out almost to explain what I was thinking."That sounds like a great idea! But your gonna have to help me not fall over!" He said in a joking tone with a grin on his lips.I let out a small giggle before I placed my head in his lap willingly falling over to stair up at him.His face showed surprise and embarrassment as his cheeks where pink. I reached up to his face to touch his hair. Oh how I have missed him. I missed his beautiful face, and the way he looks at me. I smiled as he played with my hair, I relaxed into his lap the Christmas music filling the air as everything was perfect."Dinners ready!" Joyce yelled from the kitchen, I got up slowly giving a hand to Mike to pull him off the couch. We all went to the kitchen sitting down in our seats. Max sat next to El, me next to Mike, Nancy next to Jonathan, and mom and hopper with mikes parents.I saw max hold Els hand under the table, my face couldn't hide its confused expression as I looked at them. Mike kicked me in the leg softly to remind me not to blow the cover of them holding hands.I looked at him with a confused expression and he only shrugged. We went back to eating and after a few minutes we where all done with our dinner.

Mikes pov:Will went out to the couch having a talk laughing and joking with El and Max, I couldn't help but stair at him the fire lighting his face, and the way he laughed made me feel butterfly's in my stomach. I stopped staring and went back to making hot chocolate, I put Els hot chocolate in a red mug with 5 marshmallows, max gets a green mug (that matches Els) with no marshmallows because she doesn't like them, I got a blue mug with 3 marshmallows because I don't like to much, and will gets a yellow mug with the bag of marshmallows because he likes eating some separately.I walked over with the cups and the bag of marshmallows, I walked over to El and handed her the mug and then giving max hers. "Thanks Mike!" She said blowing her hot chocolate so it wasn't to hot."Of corse!" I said a wide smile on my face as I walked over to wills sitting close to him, I put out the cup as I set down mine on the coffee table in front of me. "You remembered" he said giving me a wide smile looking into my eyes."How could I forget?" I said in a voice just for will as I grabbed his hand starring back into his eyes.
His face turned red as he took a sip of his drink breaking the eye contact.Rocking around the Christmas tree started playing from the speaker, Max jumped up grabbing Els hand setting her hot coco down bringing her with her and dancing holding hands with the brightest smile.
I laughed before grabbing wills hand pulling him off the couch."Woah! Mike?" He said stumbling with a goofy smile plastered across his face.I swayed with him to the beat smiling my ass off, everything seemed to go in a special way the dim light from the fire, the dark shining stars seeping through the curtains, the music and the smell of pine tree. I embraced him hugging him still swaying to the beat as I stared longingly into his eyes, they shined in the dim light and his smile gave me butterflies.
Soon enough the song ended announcing it was time to go to bed. Max grabbed Els hand leading her to the basement while giving us a small wave and a smile.
"Night Mike! Night will!" El said almost tripping over her self as max dragged her down the stairs.will waved at her as he started to head up stairs, I followed behind him heading to my room.I fell on to my bed with a happy sigh, I wanted to squeal and kick my feet up and down like a little kid. Will being here for the first time in forever and the way he looks at me and everything about him just made me wanna put my hands over my face and scream. He walked over to me and sat next to me falling over with a giggle laying next to me."First thing tomorrow we are gonna go ice skating!" He said a large smile creeping on to his face.I couldn't help but smile back, my body seemed to move itself as I put my hand on his face."I missed you will." I said my eyes not looking away from his. "I missed you to" he said embracing me in a hug.We fell asleep hugging each other the moonlight seeping through the window snuggled under the blankets.

Nothing could get better than this.
