Chapter 4: Anger.

My legs moved at an erratic speed as I ran down the stairs. All the pairs of eyes that were on the table rested on me, surely my face was a sight to see. I went to the entrance of the house and took my keys from the reception desk we had. My mother stopped short as she approached me. I felt like my heart was about to jump out of my mouth, and my breathing was more than complicated

—Honey, are you okay? —She asked worriedly as she took my shoulders and studied my face.

—Yyes —I said trying to breathe normally—. I need to get some air, I'll go for a walk...

—Let Lucian come with you —Alice said, watching her son walk calmly down the stairs—. It's already night, it's not good for you to be alone...

— No, it's fine! —I tied myself up.

I could see how the unfortunate smiled and looked at me, his front teeth slightly bit his lower lip, while he studied me with his eyes intensely. "Damn shameless!" I thought while narrowing my eyes.

—I'll go to Ethan's, he'll bring me later —I said, taking my cell phone out of my pocket and looking for his WhatsApp.

Alpha Lucian's smirk faded, and his eyes went from devouring me to wanting to kill me.

— Safe? —my father asked.

I nodded, turned to the door and left.

<In the urgent square> I sent him to the cell phone.

I was walking fast, hoping that bastard wasn't following me. I looked everywhere, I was alone and that gave me anxiety. Not because something was going to happen to me, but because the feeling of being persecuted was tormenting me. I looked around again, but nothing. There wasn't a soul on the street. I took out my cell phone when I heard the sound of a notification.

<Did something happen?> he asked me.

I typed hastily. Sometimes I used to think that if I had all the wolf genes I wouldn't need a cell phone to talk to my friends, but I came out of the factory as a failure.

<I'll tell you when I see you>

Another notification sounded on my cell phone. I looked at it.

<Okay...>

I put the device in my gardener and hurriedly continued walking. The streets were desolate, and she was scared to death. If Alpha Lucian attacked me again, and I tried to defend myself, even if I knew self defense I'd be dead. I mean... What can I do, as a human with some wolf genes, against an Alpha?

When I got to the square, Ethan was already there. I approached as if the devil took me, with my heart in my mouth and difficult breathing.

—It had better be something important —he said, yawning.

A few tears came out of the corners of his eyes.

—Alpha Lucian is my mate —I told him without anesthesia—. And he almost raped me in the bathroom.

His biggest eyes couldn't be. And his jaw reached the floor. He blinked a couple of times, assimilating the information I had given him.

— Fuck! —he said, sitting down on a bench, as he clasped his fingers together and put his face on them—. That's why he doesn't stop looking at you every time you pass near him.

— Wwhat? —I said puzzled—. Didn't it occur to you to tell me before? I don't know, maybe... Sam, the Alpha has dark intentions with you, I can see it in his eyes?

I had never realized that. I swallowed hard, I was upset.

—Haven't you noticed that guy has been eating you with his eyes for more than two years? —He said more incredulously.
