The New Years

After the Dinner...

"Ahhh. That was so good.", Uraraka smiled. "I had so much fun meeting you guys. I hope we can do this again."

"The only time all nineteen of us are all free is on New Years.", Momo giggled.

"Now there will be twenty.", Midoriya smiled.

"See you losers, later.", Bakugo said walking away.

"Wait up, man!", Kirishima called.

"Go with your girlfriend!", he barked.

"She's coming with us! We're all ringing in the New Year together!"

"Auughhhh!"

"Actually, you guys can head on without us. There's a place we actually planned on going after this.", Midoriya said.

We did?, Uraraka thought.

"Don't let us stop you.", Mina smiled. "Happy New Year, anyway. We'll see you guys later."

Mina hugged Uraraka and pouted her lip.

"This bum is already stealing you from me."

"Hey, that's mean.", Midoriya said putting his hands out.

"I know."

Everyone started saying their goodbyes and the two were standing there alone.

"Thank you for picking up my tab.", Uraraka smiled. "You totally didn't have to."

"Of course I did. I wanted to.", he replied.

"Well...okay.", she said. "Thank you."

"What's wrong?", Midoriya asked holding her hand.

"It's...well...I mean it's really nothing.", she chuckled walking with him.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

He looked up at the sky and then back at her.

"Can I hug you?"

"You don't have to ask.", she exhaled laughing.

"But...you might be upset."

"Who told you that? I'm not upset! I'm good! I swear."

He wrapped his arms around her and then her waist.

"So if I did this.", he said tickling her waist. "You wouldn't be upset."

"S-Stop!", she giggled. "I might k-kick you or something!"

She pulled away slightly laughing, but one of his arms were still on her waist. He took this opportunity to put his empty arm under her legs and carry her bridal style. She yelped as she put her arms around his neck, but cackled again as he spun around.

"You're a freaking riot!", she smiled putting her head on his chest.

"I'm gonna jump up."

"What?", she asked looking up at him.

By the time she answered, she already had her arms tightened and her head squished into him.

"Izuku!", she squealed.

He began to jump up on the nearest buildings towards one of the tallest buildings in the prefecture.

He felt her arms squeeze him and that made him go even faster. He remembered carrying her the first time and not feeling her warmth at all. He ran on the side of the building and stepped onto the corner of the top and finally the roof of the building.
