Camryn
This birthday dinner was turning out to be fantastic. Jason made me this wonderful Italian dinner consisted of cheese ravioli and spaghetti and meatballs. It was just the two of us at his house. He was such a romantic. He knew that. We finished the last of the ravioli just in time for desert. I was about to take my plate to the kitchen when he stopped me in my tracks. "I'll take that, my lady" he said, taking my plate for me like a gentleman would. "Why, thank you" I said. I love him. No, wait, I'm IN LOVE with him. I'm sure he knew that. After he got back from the kitchen, he sat back down in his chair. "I hope your having an awesome birthday, Camryn" he said. "Why, this is probably the best birthday I ever had. This dinner is fantastic and I'm with you, which is amazing. I don't know how this can get any better" I said with the biggest smile on my face. He got up, took my hand, and we headed toward the living room. He turned on the stereo playing I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston. "May I have this dance, gorgeous?" he said. There was no way in hell I will ever turn down a dance with Jason. "It would be my honor" I said, blushing. We started slow dancing across the living room. I felt like this was our own private mini prom. Jason didn't go to my school and would never have gotten in at my school's prom. At the time of my actual senior prom (which was last month), I didn't go because Jason had asked me to go to an Adele concert with him. I am a major Adele fan and no one at my school asked me to senior prom, so Adele beat prom and I went to the concert with Jason. We actually had a blast. We even sneaked a mini makeout session during Someone Like You. It was really a memorable night.
Jason and I were dancing in each other's arms like it was our last day together. As Justin Bieber once sang, I could just die in your arms. When the song ended, Jason looked into my eyes and kissed me like our lives depended on it. Once he pulled away, we just stared into each other's eyes in silence. Just then, Jason took my hand and took me upstairs. "Jason, where are we going? What's going on?" I asked. "You'll see" he said. He took me to a room I never even seen before. "What is this place?" I asked. The room was full of chests and boxes. Probably full of old stuff from the past. Most likely, Jason's past. "I call this the memory room. It's where I keep all my memories and make some as well" he said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Camryn, you know I love you. I love you more than I could have ever imagined. You're smart, funny, caring, beautiful. Anyone would be lucky to be by your side. You're perfect and I want to spend the rest of my life with you" he said. He got down on one knee and pulled a black leather box out of his pocket. He opened it and there inside it was a beautiful diamond ring. "Camryn White, will you marry me?" he asked. I can't believe this. JASON BENNETT WAS FREAKING PROPOSING TO ME! This had to be a dream. Inside, I was pinching myself to make sure this was reality. It was. "Jason........Yes. I would love to marry you" I said. Jason then shot up at took me in his arms. We hugged like there was no tommorrow. I meant what I said. Even though I was still young, you only live once and I was in love with Jason. This night just went from wonderful to perfect.
