Y/N POV:
Shit shit shit shiiiiiit.
Why me? Why now? I seriously can't have a moment of peace.
I was just trying to get this high bounty kill but no. This target had to be great with knots. Good news and bad news. I'm great with rope and knots too, but this guy won't leave me alone. He won't even look away for a second. I was tied up and was hanging from the ceiling. The blood was rushing to my head, and I felt like I was going to pass out.
"I bet you thought this was gonna be easy huh? Just kill me and snatch the bounty? Well, that didn't work so well did it-"
*THUMP*
He fell to the ground. Slowly a pool of blood started to form, emanating from his head. What the heck just happened? Someone came out from the shadows; a certain fluffy haired boy you hadn't seen in a bit. "Killua?"
"The one and only. How's the last two weeks been? I haven't seen you since uh...you know. I accidentally took your kill." It turned out fine. My family didn't question the sincerity of my voice when I said I killed him. "It's fine. Anyways, what're you doing here?" He leaned to one side.
"Shouldn't you be more worried about the fact that you're tied up. Upside down no less." He eyed me up and down. I blushed at the movement of his eyes, but the darkness hid that for me. "You honestly look like you're going to pass out." "Maybe because I am." "Need some help, damsel?"
Damsel? Seriously? Could he get anymore cheesy?
"No, I don't- and don't call me a damsel. I can untie myself." Just as I said that I got all but one of the knots. But I couldn't reach it. Damnit. I really wanted to spite him.
He smirked. That smug expression was unbearable. By this point, I was no longer upside down so my blood started to circulate again. I still couldn't get that last knot. Killua came over and undid it for me. I fell and he half-caught me, falling down with me. We were lying beside each other in silence for about 2 seconds, before Killua busted out in laughter.
"What? What's so funny?" I was confused. It took a minute before he composed himself again. Taking in a deep breath he said, "Your face! You were totally blushing." I put a hand up to my face. It was warm. But how could he see the redness in the almost pitch-black lighting? Were his eyes seriously that catlike?
"It's just because of the blood going to my head. Do you not know how circulation works?" Killua sat up, stretching and yawning before fully standing up. "Whatever you say. Anyways, let's leave this shed, it stinks." He said, holding out his hand to help me up. You accepted the help and grabbed his hand. However, Killua didn't let go as we walked out the door.

Killua's POV:
I wasn't letting go of her hand. I don't know why. It would be weird if I let go now though. Y/N and I walked out the large door of the shed. It was up on a slight hill. To be perfectly honest, I only went up there because I heard the guy maniacally laughing. He couldn't seem to shut up. I looked back at Y/N, and she looked back at me and raised her eyebrows. "Oh, right. Uh, sorry."
As I let go, Y/N didn't move her hand from where it was. After a few seconds she jumped and pulled her hand back. "Sorry about that, I just zoned out." She was lying. Maybe. That much I knew. I decided to ignore it, maybe she was just phased. "I guess I owe you an explanation, right?" I started to walk down the small incline and Y/N followed. "I guess you do," she replied.
"Well, I was taking a stroll through the village before heading over to one of these trees to take a rest. Just before I was about to take a nap, I heard the man who kidnapped you maniacally laughing. He was way too loud. I decided to find out what was happening, so I went up to the shed and... Well. You know what happens from there I suppose."
We reached the end of the hill and the start of the village. "I suppose. I'm glad I got to see you again after only texting every few days." I turned around and crossed my arms. "So, you missed me, huh?" I took a few steps towards Y/N but she didn't let up. "No, I did not. You're just the only thing that's actually been interesting. Somewhat."
I knew for sure she was lying this time. Putting one finger under her chin, I raised it up to look at me. "You don't need to lie to me. I already know the truth before I ask, anyway." Y/N widened her eyes before grabbing my hand and putting her hand on my chest. "As do I. You've missed me too, haven't you?"
It was true. I hated that she was right.
I felt my face flush. She couldn't win this round. At least make it a draw?
"Well maybe I have. Nothing wrong with that. Do you wanna finish my stroll with me?" I said, changing the subject. Y/N nodded and removed her hand, dropping mine along with it. I still grabbed her wrist anyways. "Great! I've been wanting to find some chocolate robots lately, so let's look for those!"
We ran off.
No time like the present, right?
A/N: Thank you for reading Chapter 2! I've written this a lot quicker than I thought I would've, so I'm glad. Also, Happy early Halloween! I might make a Halloween themed side story, so be sure to look for that when Halloween comes. One more thing, I apologize if I make some formatting adjustments along the way, I'm still trying to find my writing style. Until next time!
