Why?

Chapter 2 (leo's POV)

I was friends with two humans, but we weren't like 'bffs' or something like that..

But that was when I met Willow, she escaped from her prison and she ran into me pushing me against a wall. I looked into her eyes and could tell she was kinda pissed off.

  "Sorry" she said, I couldn't stop staring at those eyes. So I got the guts and kissed her, but then I woke up from yelling in the kitchen. 

"YOUR MAKING THEM WRONG MIKEY!!!!" Willow yelled "NO YOUR DOING IT WRONG WILLOW!!" Mikey yelled 

'Oh my god, Mikey and his cooking ideas' I thought. I got up and went to the living room to watch some Space Heroes.

 I saw Raph on the couch reading a comic with Spike sitting right next to him eating some leaves

"Good morning, lameanardo." Raph joked "good morning, hothead." I said, then I saw Willow walking out of the kitchen with a 'pissed off look'

"Morning Willow" I said, she looked at me and smiled. I could tell that it was a fake smile, but I didn't mind. She walked into the lab and closed the door, "I'M NOT DONE WITH THE FOOD YET WILLOW!!!" Mikey yelled.

 "Stop yelling Mikey!" I yelled "But she didn't finish the food!" "Yea, well you made her mad. You have to understand that she had different feelings than Phoenix." I didn't mean to bring her up. She has been gone for years now, Mikey and Raph just stared at me. "Mikey, Raph, I didn't mean to bring her up. Trust me."

Then I remembered those last words I said, "Trust me." That was one of Phoenix's main lines. "Never EVER say that line again..." Raph said

 Raph and Phoenix were best friends forever. But when she... went away... Things got tough... Really tough for Raph at the most... They understood each other, they were like siblings, but when she.... Raph got into pills and depression and drugs... I didn't wanna tell him that I know but what am I supposed to do? His best friend who he loved and wanted to ask her out was gone... 

It has been an hour before I heard yelling in the lab, so I was gonna go and check out what had happened when I heard screams of... Joy? I turned around and saw Y/N crying and so was Liz, Mikey was jumping around like crazy, while crying. Then I saw Raph just shaking, not doing anything but just shaking

Then I saw some cut human arms wrap around Raph's torso. Then I saw the human being, and I couldn't believe my eyes... It was Phoenix.... Her hair was cut short, she had been working out lately you could tell for sure, and she lost a lot of weight last time I saw her... But she didn't have the same tone and skin color, maybe she... No she died I saw her die right in front of Raph!

I didn't believe it, that is not the Phoenix I remember. "Hey Leo." She said whimpering trying not to cry. But Phoenix only cried for a good reason, yea this may be a good reason to cry but Phoenix never cried... 

I just stared at her... She didn't even look like the girl I knew all of those years ago! "Who are you?! And how did you find our home!?" I yelled, they all stared at me. "Leo! It's fire!" Mikey yelled from the sofa. Willow walked out of the lab and saw "Phoenix" "no, no, Leo has a point. Who are you and why are you here!? Do you work with the Shredder!?" Willow asked.

"Why don't you believe her?! It's Phoenix Leo!?" Raph yelled, she looked at me then Willow. "I'm Phoenix! Why don't you believe me?!" She asked "Because you're not her!!!!" I yelled, everyone froze just staring at me. 

"No, Leo has a point, this isn't our  Phoenix." Willow added, she then looks at me and I could tell she has an idea. "If you are Phoenix, then do something me and you would only do." Willow said sternly. "Phoenix" then took out her phone and played a random song. 

By the words and melody it was Unholy... But then she started to dance... And Phoenix never danced... And that wasn't even her favorite song.

Me and the guys all looked at one another and grabbed our weapons, the guys eyes turned white and we were ready for battle. But then "Phoenix" changed... Into Empress.... 

Empress is Phoenix's vampire "curse" so yea.
