First Meeting

1 YEAR BEFORE THE GET TOGETHER

Y/N POV

I was walking down the school hall towards my locker. I have always loved school but this school sucks. Most of the teachers here are good and love all the students equally. But others are totally biased towards rich and beauty. Especially the principal and as for chairman, he is just unknown to all of this, which leads to the good teachers not able to do something. And that's why I hate this school. I have no option to take another school because this is the nearest to my house and so my lazy ass don't have to walk much.

I reached my locker and took all the material I needed for the first half of the school. I closed my locker after taking all my materials when someone put their palms on my eyes.

"Guess who?"

I know this voice!

"Oh my gosh! What the heck unnie!" I took her hands, opened my eyes and turned around.

"When did you return from USA?"
"Yesterday only. I wanted to suprise you so I didn't tell you."

Jennie had to go for a six months exchange programme to USA. Its good to see her back. I was all alone in school. And as for Haknyeon he tried his best to be with me but his other friends, who are just another bunch of rich dorks in the school, always called him. He wanted me to join him but jesus, me with his friends nahh. Well in this whole school only Jennie and Haknyeon are the ones who are rich and have beauty but are good from hearts.

"Y/n, Jennie!", said a loud voice. It was Haknyeon. He ran towards us and hugged Jennie.

"I missed you girl."
"Aww I missed you too Hakkie."
I smirked looking at them.
"Why are you smirking?", asked Jennie.
"You two something - something?"
"No!!", they both said in unison.

"Then why tf are you two blushing huh?", I said raising my right eyebrow.

"Its nothing you are imagining things.", said Haknyeon.

The bell for the first period rung. I and Jennie have all the classes together while Haknyeon shares no classes with us. So we two parted ways with him and went to our respective classes. We both were seat partners which was good. To be honest, I met Jennie during freshmen year. Mr. Sim, one of the good teachers, made me sit with her on my first day. At first, I barely talked to her thinking she is one of those rich people who are full of themselves. But I was wrong. She saved me from getting bullied and even made those bullies get out of the school. And that's how we became friends. And now she is really close to me just like Haknyeon.

Mr. Sim, our class teacher, who is also our physics teacher entered the class.

"Good morning students. Today I am gonna change your seat partners."

Holy shit! I really don't want anyone other then Jennie to be my partner. I hate humans, except my family and two besties of course. I crossed my fingers and started praying. But looks like god didn't hear it.

"Jennie and Hyunjae."
"Y/n and Sunwoo."

Fuck. Not him. He is rich. He is handsome. I am sure he is just like other rich dorks who are full of themselves. And not to mention he is topper of the school. Jennie looked at me and sadly smiled at me. She took all her belongings and went to the seat next to Hyunjae. I also collected all my belongings and went to sit beside Sunwoo. I can feel him staring at me for few seconds before diverting his gaze towards the front.

Time skip to lunch break

I was putting all my belongings inside my locker. Jennie amd Haknyeon came towards me.

"Let's go and dig in some food. I am hungry!", said Haknyeon.

"When are you not hungry?", I said with a scoff, while closing my locker.

"Y/n~~~"

"Okay okay stop being a baby let's go and eat.", said Jennie.

Haknyeon and I nodded and followed her to the canteen. I took out my phone and went through my instagram. I bumped into Haknyeon as he stopped. I thought they found the table so I lifted my head. But, the table had Haknyeon's other bestfriends.

I looked at Jennie and she said, "Y/n, I was not here for six months so I wanted to eat with my brother."

"Umm it's not a problem unnie. You can sit with them. Infact I was not hungry. So... you both enjoy."

I said and was about to leave, when Haknyeon stopped me and said, "C'mon y/n. For six months you are using the same damn excuse. Not anymore now. Just sit here plss... If not for me, then for her?"

Well I would be wrong if I said I didn't want to spend my time with Jennie after she had been far aways for six months which was surely like years for me. And also I was hungry. So I nodded my head and took my seat between Jennie and Haknyeon. They both smiled and sat beside me.

I could feel some of them staring at me. To be truthful, that wasn't something that was making me uncomfortable. Rather the girls who were shit talking about me coz of jealousy was uncomfortable. And as for Jennie they all know that this group has her brother as one of the members so that's why she sometimes talk with them. Moreover she is rich!

"Hi bitches. Wassup?? This is my and Haknyeon's bestfriend y/n! So all of you introduce yourself to her!", said Jennie.

"Sangyeon."
"Jacob here. Nice to meet you."
"Hyunjae ma lady!"
"I'm Younghoon."
"Juyeon", the guy said while winking at me.
"Its your moonlight boy Kevin!"
"Chanhee."
"Changmin."
"Energy boy Eric!"
"You know my name but still. Sunwoo."
"Y/n."

"Okay as our introduction is finished let's go and eat!", said Haknyeon.

"Yeah sure. But before that, Kim Sunwoo don't trouble her much. Otherwise you know what I would do to you!", said Jennie.

"Why what happen?", asked Younghoon.  Well I am good in learning people's name and faces quickly lol.

"Mr. Sim changed our seat partners today. Jennie is my partner and Sunwoo is y/n's.", said Hyunjae.

"Wohh Kim Sunwoo you are lucky to have such a pretty girl as a partner huh?!", said Juyeon.

"Shut up hyung!", Sunwoo said, rubbing his temple. "Noona, why you think I would be treating her badly?"

"Coz you are going through your puberty my child! You are just 17!", said Jennie.

"Soon gonna be 18!", said Sunwoo gritting his teeth.

"But she is right you are really moody!", said Haknyeon.

Sunwoo glared at Haknyeon. "You both don't need to worry. She would be fine with me. And noona, you should know your little brother the best okay?!"

Wait, so he is her brother. I just knew that Jennie had a younger brother in this group but didn't know it was him.

"Awww, I know my brother is a gentleman to nice people. I was just pulling your legs Sunwoo. But still, take care of her hmm?", Jennie said while ruffling his hair.

He nodded his head and looked at me for some seconds. Same goes for me. I, too, looked at him. Then we all went to take our food from the canteen counter.
