Y/N POV

We all ate our lunch and started to go back to our respective classes. A boy, who is also my classmate, approached me and said, "Y/n, Mr. Sim is calling you in his office." I nodded my head and left to meet Mr. Sim.

I knocked on his door and could hear him saying "Come in". I entered and saw Sunwoo too sitting there on one of the chairs opposite to Mr. Sim's. "Oh y/n! Come sit. So basically the reason why I made you two sit together today morning is, a project."

"Project?", asked Sunwoo.
"Yeah. Our school is participating in a national science project competition. And as you two are the topmost students of our school, we want you two to be the partners in this project and win us a position in the competition."

Me and him? As partners? For a project? Nahhh I better decline this offer than be with him. Like why do I have to go through all that pain of facing an unknown human continuously. When all I would get is just a certificate and a trophy. Like its not gonna even affect my school grades.

"Oh and before anything, lemme tell you, the winning team members would get 4-year scholarship from government for your university. All the expenses of dorm and universities would be taken by the government."

"We can do it!!", we both said in unison.

Well, I thought that I would get nothing, but the moment Mr. Sim said that winners would get scholarship and that too for 4 years I had to agree. As I already said, I am not rich, so I do need to secure this scholarship, even if it meant to partner up with him and meet him for this project. However, I don't know why he agreed. Like he is rich so I guess, he shouldn't be that desperate for the scholarship. But the look in his eyes was the opposite of my thinking. He looked like he wanted to win this competition and want that scholarship no matter what. Just like me.

"Well then. You both better start preparing for it. The competition is after 6 months. Good luck to you two. I hope you make us proud. And you two don't need to stress yourselves much huh?"

We both nodded and left. We both had our english class so we both need to go to the same class. And so we both walked together, side by side. Luckily, by now all students are in their classes so no one can see us.

"How about we do something related to space?", Sunwoo asked.
"Well yeah sure. I was actually thinking the same.", I replied.
"Great then. Umm here just save your number so I can contact you.", he said giving me his phone.
"Why?"
"Y/n, we need to work on a project together for 6 months, so surely we need to contact each other every now and then."
"Ahhh, sorry.", I quickly typed my number in his phone and gave it back to him.
"OK then. Today, my place or your place?"
"Hmmm??"
"You know for the project?"
"Ahhh ummm..... let's do it at my place for today if you don't mind."

"Ofcourse no. Why would I mind. I am okay with it. Actually, its preferred not to meet at my place at all.", he mumbled the last sentence so I couldn't hear the last sentence properly. And I am not gonna ask him to repeat himself.

"Ok then. My place at 5pm?"

"Fine with me.", he smiled at me and then we walked silently. Not gonna lie, but his smile was cute. Like it didn't seem fake that other students of this school do. Rather, it seemed genuine. No y/n, get out of the daze. He is just like others. Even if he is Jennie's brother that doesn't mean he is like her.

With that I shook my head, and we entered our class. Miss. Choi was already there. So when we both asked her for the permission to come in she asked, "Where were you two?"

"We were with Mr. Sim. He called us for a national science project competition. If you want you can even ask him.", Sunwoo replied. Dude has a lot of confidence. I wish I could have atleast one - fourth of it.

Miss Choi nodded and asked us to sit on our respective seats. And there she is teaching us about Passive and Active speech. And here I was searching "latest space facts and news" on the web on my phone secretly. I looked on my left and saw Sunwoo doing the same thing.

"Well, I do have to agree, you and I do share some of the braincells together.", I whispered to him.
He chuckled and replied, "Yeah well. I do have to agree too."

And our whole period went with us surfing about the topic on web, discussing about it via whispers, not much though as I don't wanna be so close to him and also I don't wanna gain attention from other students, and yeah most important, making sure Miss Choi doesn't see us otherwise bye-bye to our phones.
