I returned from the school and unlocked my house door. As soon as I opened the door, I could smell the delicious food being cooked. That meant my parents were home. I took off my shoes, closed the door behind me and got in. I tip-toed to kitchen and there I saw my mom cooking soup and my dad cooking ramen. They usually cooked together and helped each other in the kitchen. I went there and hugged them from behind.

"Awww my little girl is finally home.", my dad said patting my head.

"Yes dad. How are you two doing?", I asked them.

"We are great sweetheart. Now hurry up, get fresh, change your clothes and have lunch. They are about to get cooked.", my mom said.

"Alright boss!! I'll be right back!", I said and exited the kitchen.

I went into my room, took out a cozy black and white sweater and black jeans. I went into bathroom, took a quick bath and wore my clothes. As soon as I exited my bathroom, I heard my phone receiving a message. I opened it and checked my chats. The message was from Sunwoo.

Its already 3pm. Can
you make it till 5pm?

I almost forgot that he was going to come at my place for project. I don't know why but I got this feeling that this guy is gonna be a huge trouble for me. I just hope its not. Anyways, I would cut all the connections with him once this whole project thing is over.

I went downstairs to have my lunch. My parents were already seated and were serving the soup, rice and ramen. I sat on my seat and took in the fragrance of the delicious food. Damn, can't believe that I get to eat this delicious food everyday. Well let me introduce you all my parents. My parents had been working at a hotel's restaurant since years. They had been saving money and now they can finally fulfill their dream. The dream of having their own restaurant. Since past few days, they were busy with all the restaurant stuffs. After 2 weeks, the restaurant would finally be opened!

I took my chopsticks, thanked mom and dad for the food and took the first bite of ramen. Damn it was so good. My parents saw my happy expression and started eating the food too.

"So what happened in school today?", my dad asked.

"Nothing much. Normal studies. Though I had to do a project for a competition and for that I can get a 4 year scholarship if we won."

"That's great. You can do it y/n. I know you can. Whatever the result will be just know that we both would always be proud of you.", my mom said.

That is what I liked about my parents. They were very supportive. And they were really cool. I usually listen my schoolmates complaining about their parents but I guess I can never relate with them for my parents were totally different, completely opposite to what they always say about their parents.

"Ohh btw a guy is gonna come home mom. Around 5 o' clock. So if anyone knocks the door, and its him, can you pls open the door and call me down. Can you?", I asked my mom.

"Sure sweetie. But who is this guy?", my mom asked with a wide grin on her face.

"Is he your boyfriend?", my dad asked with a mischievous expression.
