Ahhh, the Xenturion-411-A. Did you know that there's a Xenturion-411-B as well?
Yeah, you heard it right. There are two, very similar stars orbiting each other. They are massive... Their size is almost five times Earth's sun. They emit a strong, blue light and their surface temperature is nearly as high as ten thousand Celsius degrees. They completely orbit each other every 31 hours and 4 minutes.
Impressive, isn't it? Of course, these two giants are not alone. They are escorted by their small planets.
The biggest of them is the Ararea. It's a giant planet (Not as big as its parent stars though) and it hosts a variety of vegetation. At night, light can be seen coming from its surface presumably some kind of intelligent life is also present there.
The Boomerang-21 is the smallest planet that is completely covered with ice. The surface is uninhabitable due to the low temperatures and it doesn't have any breathable atmosphere, only nitrogen although it is currently unknown if the planet is habitable below the ice.
There's an asteroid belt around the star as well. It is rich in metals and other fundamental building elements, but smaller asteroids often collide with each other and send deadly shrapnel moving at near light-speed into the nearby space. The asteroids pose a constant danger to the nearby space station.
The Omega-4 space station is just outside the asteroid belt. It's a relatively small station compared to its parent station, which is only thirty-two light-years away.
This research station was set up by the United States to keep the Ararea's life in check, however, they have been instructed to keep their presence secret.
This has not been a big challenge as the space station is rather far from the Ararea and most observation tools have more than enough range to do the job.The space station is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and its crew is armed in case the peaceful observation turns into a survival mission as their only possible evacuation plan is to descend to the Ararea.
The Omega-4 is currently manned by 23 people and most of them are scientists or other kinds of research personnel. Their training consists mostly of scientific studies, but the selected security personnel have skills in space and ground combat as well, but their number is relatively low compared to the others.
There is another space station orbiting the two stars. It is in a highly degraded state and completely abandoned. Rumors have been spreading that the station was quarantined due to an infection that happened on board, but the current status of its crew is unknown. As of yet, there have been no attempts made to discover what caused the station to stop responding.
