Today was an apprentice ceremony for Sootkit and Sparkkit.
"My kits are gonna be all grown up!" Cinderpelt let out a dramatic cry.
"They're gonna be fine warriors," Fireheart smiled. "The best in the clan"
"You bet- I'm gonna tackle all the other clan warriors, and they'll be begging for mercy!" Sootkit giggled.
Sparkkit mewed proudly, "I want to be a medicine c-" she was cut off by Bluestars yowl.
Bluestar was gathering attention, for all cats to gather by highrock. "I, Bluestar, present two new apprentices." she began, "Sootkit, Spark kit, from this day until, you will be known as Sootpaw and SparkPaw" she paused, "Sootpaw, your mentor will be Fireheart."
Sootpaw went up to his father and touched his nose, smiling.
Bluestar mewed, her chin held up high, "Sparkpaw, your mentor will be Yellowfang"
Sparkpaw looked around for Yellowfang, but she was no where to be seen. She felt a pang of amusement.
The other cats looked embarrassed for her, but Sparkpaw didn't mind.
Sootpaw and Sparkpaw were now training, and their parents were as proud as ever.
