Tee POV

I run my hand through my hair. Why didn't Tae tell me he was talking to the director?

I guess I get to put another person on the list of people who know about Tae and me. The list seems to be growing rather quickly, which I don't like.

It isn't much of a secret if everyone knows.

Dread washes over me.

If the executives know, will I or Tae be banned from acting? Or maybe both of us.

I'm finally getting jobs. I don't want to go back to the time when I didn't know if I would have enough money for my next meal or rent. It sucks.

My gaze lifts from the ground to the front of the studio building.

Will the director say something to me? Tae told me several times this morning to not worry, but how can I not? We are over 70% done filming, and I don't want anything to cause me or Tae problems now.

I have a big enough problem with Rhonda and her interest in my man. I don't need anything else to worry about.

One positive thing came out of last night. The director has pledged to stand beside us and protect us from anyone, including the witch. He also said he would call in reinforcements if needed. I still don't know exactly what he means by that, but I hope I never find out.

I glance down at my watch. There isn't much time left before my first shoot of the day.

Can I fast forward to this evening and after all our filming is done?

"TEE!"

My head whips up, and I spot a staff member standing right outside the entrance. He looks round, but when his eyes land on me, he motions with his hand for me to come. "TEE! YOU NEED TO GET YOUR MAKEUP DONE NOW!"

I nod. "I'm coming!"

He gives me a thumbs up and then turns and disappears through the entrance.

I take a deep breath and shake my head. I need to get my head on straight and think about work. They are paying me to act, nothing else.

I push any thought not relating to work from my mind and stride into the building and to the makeup artist's station.

The usual woman in her twenties I go to flashes me a smile and grabs some tissues. "Have a seat. I'll get you all done and even more handsome than you are now in no time."

I shake my head and chuckle. "I don't need to be any more handsome than I already am. But you can make me look good for the shoot." I wiggle my eyebrows and wink at her.

She slightly lowers her head and soft giggles float into the air while her cheeks turn red, which look even brighter against her bright blonde hair. She swats at me with her hand. "Stop that. Get in the chair."

My chest rumbles with more chuckles as I bounce over and into the chair.

Her face is still flushed as she tucks tissues into the top of my shirt. A comfortable silence falls into place around us while she does her job.

After a while, she taps my shoulder. "There you go. I'm done. You are stunning."

She pulls the tissues from around my neck and brushes off my shoulders before she turns the chair around, so I face the mirror.

"Hold on. I need to fix some hairs."

I stare at my reflection, but I don't see any problems and don't argue with her.
