Rhonda POV

I hope this information is worth all the money I have paid for it.

My gaze drifts down the length of the mall to a small staged setup at the other end. It is only a few more minutes now before Tae and his group will arrive.

According to the information I was given, Tae should walk right past me to go to the small waiting area they have set up a short distance from the stage.

Giggles bubble within me, and I fight back the urge to let it free. This is really happening. I'm finally going to see Tae again.

My fingers itch to run through his shiny, dark hair. I could sit for hours staring into his warm, tender brown eyes.

Pleasure pulses through me as an image of me capturing his luscious lips pops into my mind.

Why stop at his lips? I will devour him whole. It is only a matter of time.

After a few minutes, I can't hold it any longer and squeal like a schoolgirl about to meet her crush for the first time. It has been so long since I've touched his tan skin.

My heart races and my stomach flutters.

Only a few more minutes now.

I glance down at my watch.

My hand sways slightly back and forth while holding a bag.

I can't wait to see Tae's expression when he sees what I've gotten him.

My informant has told me Tae has a full schedule and doesn't have time afterwards to meet with me, but maybe with future events, he will have the time. If not, I'll find a way for him to make time for me.

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait for my big present until then, or when I can get him to myself. I'm sure he will love it.

My frustrations rise as I go through the various things I have planned for us, but have to keep putting it off. At some point, he won't be able to keep putting me off. I'll get him alone and show him what kind of woman he is missing.

Who can turn a rich, gorgeous woman like me down? No one.

The corner of my mouth slowly curls upwards.

He will be mine soon.

Nothing is going to stop me.

Tae POV

I itch my nose as a crease forms along my forehead.

Tee nudges my arm. "Are you alright?"

I look to my side at him and give him a crooked smile. "Yeah, everything is fine. My nose itches. Someone must be talking about me."

I turn my attention towards the front of the van and out to the busy road in front of us. Halfheartedly, I add, "I wonder who."

The truth, though, is I don't really want to know. I probably already know who.

A cold shiver runs down my back.

Tee leans against my side and puts his head on my shoulder. "Don't worry. I'm going to be right next to you for as long as you will have me. I'll chase away anyone who tries to do anything to you, but there is going to be a small payment you will have to give me."

My eyebrow raises. "Payment, uh. Will I be able to afford this payment?" I slide my arm around his shoulders and pull him tighter against my side.

I could stay like this forever.
