I had to pet your feathers

It was a quiet day in Nice and Friendly Corners and everyone was grateful for it. Especially Callie, right now she was playing truth or dare with Priscilla and Frida. Priscilla had finished her truth and now it was Callie's turn. "Callie truth or dare?" Priscilla asked smirking.

"Hmm, well I guess dare." Callie said thinking Priscilla couldn't be to devious with her.

"Okay I dare you to pet Peck's feathers without telling him why until a few days after you do."

"Wait WHAT!? You can't be serious!"

"Oh, but I completely am I know that you two are best friends and he will be confused but won't care. Meanwhile during their talk Frida was rolling on the floor in laughter and Ella overheard and snickered at Callie's misfortune while Priscilla smiled smugly and Callie was wishing the ground would open up and swallow her before her whole body turned as red as her face was.

The next morning in the jailhouse Peck was just enjoying breakfast when a red faced Callie was pushed in by a smirking Priscilla and a snickering Frida. A small whisper of "can't I do this later" from Callie along with an answer of "Nope" from Priscilla was heard as the room quieted down.

Callie felt Peck's eyes on her as her faced heated up. She sent a final glare to Priscilla and walked over to Peck then said "Peck I need you to take your hat off"

Peck did as asked,"Okay why?"

Callie then responded"so I can do this." As she pet his soft feathers.

She then glared at Priscilla and Frida who were laughing so hard they were red in the face. She then walked out of the jailhouse tailed by Frida and Priscilla. They decided to go to Ella's Saloon and Ella eventually became curious about Callie's mood considering she was pouting like a five year old. She didn't wonder long since a few days later Peck came in and asked Callie loud and clear "Are you going to pet my head again?"

....... Let's just say a lot of teasing was in order for poor Callie.
