10 DAYS BEFORE WORLDS
my team flew out to florida early to start to get ready for worlds aka the biggest competition in cheer
this is my 9th consecutive year being at worlds as my first appearance was made when i was six on a level 2 team (idk if level two goes to worlds but let's pretend they do)
"idk something about this worlds seems different" i said to my cheer friends "yeah idk why tho"sage my cheer and school best friend said
we decided to change most of our routine before we got to florida so a lot is depending on these practices before worlds and when i mean change up some of the routine i mean like having different stunts, jump sequences, harder tumbling and stuff like that.
we also have been trying to get my basket toss in the pryamid as we are going for the title of highest basket in the world
*time skip 9 days later or the day before worlds*
today was the last night before worlds and this practice had the stakes up high having everyone on the edge of their seats watching us preform our brand new routine as we showcase our brand new routine (i have never been to worlds if you couldn't tell 😭 so i am trying to think of stuff from shows abt cheering at worlds before so just bare w me) ever other time was in awe as we finished our final run through before warm ups at worlds
we went extremely high for my basket toss near the end of the routine close to beating the world record but not quite beating it
(now it is masons pov but 10 days before worlds)
i asked my co stars from tbp to go with me and my sister brooke to see my celeb crush preform at worlds as that would be the only way my parents would let me go and ofc i convinced them all to go
