there were so many nerves while we were warming up before preforming and if you know anything about cheer that doesn't help.
there were 2 more teams before us so the reality of going on the worlds mat for the 9th time in a row really sat in

"we got this ok? everything we have trained for is waiting on this moment. when we get on that mat we have to absolutely kill it and win this title not just for us but for everyone who came out here to support us." i said this to my team trying to convince them and kinda me too bc at this moment i was panicking as i saw this awesome team right before us.
(this is going to be a chant thing but like you can change it to any team you want bc i can't come up with one but the team name is going to be storm bc is sounds kinda cool ig or just change it idc- a/n)
ON DECK IS *random team name* BUT HERE IS STORM FROM CHEER ATHLETICS
we run onto the mat and start to make sure that we are in our spot then i call out "5 6 7 8 *aggressive clean from my team* STO RM" this signaled my team to get set and the person that starts the music we are ready
the music starts and i pull handspring after handspring ending w a full
i am flying this stunt so i get ready and make it one of the best stunts ever
*time skip to like a few seconds before the pyramid*
this, this is the moment everyone has been waiting for and everyone is waiting to see what stunts we will have as we usually get really creative w our pyramids
we start the pyramid everything going smooth but now we have the end of the pyramid my hard part as i have to do this full but basket toss mix that my coach came up with and then try to get the worlds highest basket almost seconds after.
