The past

"Niall, c'mon. I know you want to but you'll thank me tomorrow," you said. Niall wanted to go out again. You guys have been out three nights in a row and all you wanted to do was sleep. Of course, Niall had to me stubborn and still wanted to go. You hated when Niall went out alone, since you were always paranoid he would cheat. It's not that you didn't trust him, it's because theres so many girls you thought were prettier than you. He easily could just ditch you and leave you for good.

You also had a past relationship which you got abused it. He cheated on you all the time and you just ignored it. Every. Single. Time.

He would hit you lots and make you scared for no reason. He called you ugly and said there were so many prettier girls, which isn what got you paranoid. You were too scared of what he would do to you if you broke up with him, but finally, you couldn't take it anymore. You finally broke up with him and met Niall. He helped you get over it and was so caring about everything. He finally treated you like you mattered.

Except there would always be SOME times when things got heated...

"C'mon, nights at home are boring!"

"Okay... but we've been out the past three nights! I just want a little break!"

"You're not my mom!"

"I know, but I'm you're girlfriend and I care about you!"

"God Y/N, why do you act like you own me or something!? I can go out myself! I'm a grown man!" He raised his hand sharply and you flinched. He immediately knew why and grabbed you tightly. Some tears escaped your eyes and Niall drew circles around your back.

"Princess... don't ever think I would do that. Yes, I may get angry sometimes but I would never treat you the way he did. Ever." he calmly said. You sniffed as he moved your head to face his and wiped your face.

"C'mon, we don't have to go out. Let's just go upstairs."

You guys spent the rest of that night cuddling and watching movies.

You loved him.
