◇Chapter 1: Falling◇

"Hmm...finally..." Rui groans tiredly.

He finally finished the month long project for a performance at the wonderstage. The group have been planning this spectacular performance for months, it was going to be one of their best shows of all time. Rui was excited of course, but this robot in particular took up most of his free time he had at home, and it simply couldn't be worked on during school.

He switches the machine on for a small test. Nothing too flashy, just making sure it will turn on and off for now. It works perfectly. He sighs in relief before switching the machine off.

'𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘐 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘵𝘰 𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘱.' He longingly looks towards his couch that resides in his room.

He takes a quick glance at a side project he had been working on during school. He grows the urge to work on it more even though it's practically finished. If he has done everything correctly this machine should open a door way to the multiverse. It would be truly interesting if it worked, imagine all the possible shows he could put on with things from other universes.

His eyes look between the couch and his invention in an attempt to make a decision at what he should do.

He walks towards the device and picks it up.

"I'm sure one test won't hurt." He yawns clicking the button.

𝕐/ℕ 𝟚𝕟𝕕 𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟 ℙ. 𝕆. 𝕍

'𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘯! 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘯!' You internally scream as you attempt to full combo tondemo-wonderz on expert.

You are quite good at your little game on your iPad, yet 'Tondemo-Wonderz' was your worst enemy. Always getting so close to beating it yet one or two 'good's' would appear and ruin it all. It was as if you were cursed to never getting your 70 gems from succeeding in getting a full combo.

"NO!" you cry out as you get a 'good' on your last note.

You stare at the screen as the song finishes. You decide to take a small break from playing the songs and just play around on the home screen. You frown as you enter the 'Edit team' section upon remembering you have been stuck with the same 3 star Rui card for a while now.

"Rui, please, I need a new card of you..." You groan in annoyance.

You do a few pulls in the gacha only to get 4 star An and Luka cards. As much as you loved the two, you were in desperate need for a Rui card.

After that you watched some MVs with your team in. However, you only really stared at Rui, how could you not? He's just so beautiful in the outfit that you just bought him.

In an attempt to ignore your bad luck with 'Tondemo-Wonderz', you decide to play a song you are actually good at, 'Showtime Ruler'.

You click start and wait for the song to begin, doing anything last minute fairly quickly, throwing it to the side when the song name and difficulty fades off screen.

You begin to tap away to the song.

Half way through, so far all perfect.

Your eyes widen as you take a quick glance at the combo count glowing in pink and blue.

'𝘖𝘮𝘨𝘰𝘮𝘨𝘰𝘮𝘨 𝘐 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴'

It's near the end, so far you still have all perfects. You bit your lip in excitement of getting your first 'all perfect.'

One last hold note and...!

A blank white screen...?

You stare at the screen, heart shattered in an instant.

"no no no no noooo. You can't crash on me now...I was so close..." Your voice cracks.

You tap the screen as you wait for the game to reload. Only for your fingers to get sucked into the screen. You immediately pull away your hand out of fear.

"What the actual fuck...?" You murmur to yourself.

You touch the screen again. This time the white void drags you in fully.

You fall through a dimention of pure white, a few colourful shapes surround the area as you fell.

Shock completly took over your being. You couldn't scream or call for help because if the paralysis of fear that took over you.

You fell for what felt like forever. Was this a dream? Who knows.

Eventually You close eyes slowly, accepting your fate of possible death.

You kept Falling.

Falling.

Falling.

Falling.

Darkness.
