Rui blankly stares at the pieces of metal in front of him that are required to repair the 'diamention hopper', the light from one of 3 computers lit up his surroundings so he could see what he was working on. It was 5 minutes before his alarm, he pulled an all nighter despite you telling him not to stay up too late. He decides to just turn his alarm off so it doesn't wake you, stretching before getting up to eat breakfast and get dressed. His eyes widen once he walks into the kitchen.

"Hey hunny! How are you doing?" His mother greeted in a cheery tone while pouring herself some tea.

"Oh morning. When did you get home?" He smiles but is unable to replicate his mother's happiness because of his tiredness.

"Hmm at around 1 am! Your dad is is asleep at the moment so we best stay quiet." She smiles taking a sip of tea.

"Will do...I’ll get some breakfast and go in my room if that's alright."

"Yeah that's okay, you have to hear about our trip after school though!" She beams. Rui gets some breakfast, collecting more than usual as he needs to feed you as well. His original plan for the day was to let you sleep in, but as his parents were home he's going to have to wake you up so you can leave the house before he gets asked questions why a random person is staying in his parents home.

"Y/n...Y/n" he whispers to you, lightly shaking your sleeping body.

"Hmmm..." You groan rubbing your eyes.

"You have to come school with me today, sunshine." He smiles warmly, he's a lovely sight to wake up to really. You look him up and down in an confused tired state. He sits next to you on the bed as you slowly rise to sit up, he hands you a plate with some cold waffles on them. As you eat them you slowly come back to your senses and wake up a bit more.

"Why do I need to go to school with you?" You question with a yawn.

"My parents came home without my knowledge, so if you just shown up in the kitchen they would probably be terrified about the fact there's a random stranger in their house."

"Oh. Does that mean I have to go to school everyday?" You look at him with an annoyed expression.

"Nope, I'll just say you’re a friend from school and you got time off for reasons"

"What about staying here?" You worry that you will have to move out to someone else's house.

"Hmm...I’ll work that out. I'll ask if you can stay, don't worry I'll do anything I can to make sure you aren't forced to move somewhere else." It's like he can read your mind! What a weirdo.

"Hmmmmmm, fine..." You sigh at the thought of going to school, especially since you have to be sneaky because you don't actually go there. You both sit in silence as you eat breakfast, Rui finishes before you and makes his way to his closet to grab his uniform.

"You can borrow one of mine." he says placing a clean one on the bed for you. "I'll give you my blazer too so it's not as obvious your borrowing mine."

"But won't it be too big on me? Isn't that a big give away" you chuckle.

"Hmm yess... I'm sure it will be fine though." He smiles grabbing his own uniform. "Tell me when you’re done." He leaves the room taking the plates you used with him. You got dressed, his uniform isn't as baggy as his casual clothes so it was a little more bearable to wear. You finish off with the tie and blazer (if you have long hair you tie it up too unless you wanna leave it down lol).

"Rui I'm donee!" You call putting on some shoes that looked close enough to school shoes you could get. He walks in fully dressed in his own uniform.

"You look great" he squeezes your cheek, you scowl at him while he plops his bag on his bed. He walks to his bookshelf.
