Freind or foe?

After a while i managed to find my way out of the vents, pix climbed out of the vent after me.

"ʜᴜᴍᴀɴ, ɪᴛ ꜱᴇᴇᴍꜱ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴏᴡᴇʀ ɪꜱ ᴏᴜᴛ." Pix said while they glowed in the dark, "ᴍᴀʏʙᴇ ᴡᴇ ꜱʜᴏᴜʟᴅ ꜰɪɴᴅ ᴀ ᴡᴀʏ ᴛᴏ ɢᴇᴛ ɪᴛ ᴡᴏʀᴋɪɴɢ ᴀɢᴀɪɴ."

"Yeah, we most likely should." I replied in a semi-worried tone, "where are we right now?"

"ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴀᴛᴇʀ ʀᴇꜱᴇʀᴠᴏɪʀꜱ, ᴘʟᴇᴀꜱᴇ ʙᴇ ᴡᴀʀʏ ᴏꜰ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱʜᴀʀᴋꜱ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴀᴛᴇʀ," They remarked, as if the sharks were supposed to be in the water, "ɪ ꜱᴀᴅʟʏ ᴄᴀɴɴᴏᴛ ᴄᴏᴍᴇ ᴡɪᴛʜ ʏᴏᴜ, ꜱɪɴᴄᴇ ɪᴍ ᴛᴏᴏ ᴛɪʀᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴅᴏ ꜱᴏ."

"Alright, I'll go alone then." I replied, "see ya once i get the power on!"

I carefully hopped in the reservoir after saveing, while pix sat down near the vent we just came out of. Pix wasn't lieing about the sharks, but i hoped that they were and boy was i wrong. There was another save spot further into the reservoir area, so of course i had to save my progress.

I entered the next room, and the next room, and the next room, alright you all ready know im going through a ton of rooms trying to find the generator. While i did find it, the generator was on the other side of a huge reservoir that was suspiciously empty. Also i didn't want to try to fix something while soaking wet, because who knows if I'll slip up and electrocute myself by accident.

"I guess I'll actually have to do this." I sighed after taking off my soaking wet t-shirt and placing it on one of the rails to dry.

I carefully swimmed across the huge reservoir, and fixed the generator without electrocuting myself. As i made my way back to the other side, i had this sneaking suspicion that something was going to pop out of the water.

Splash!

I turned around and saw a weird combination of a squid and a dog, it honestly scared me a lot. Although it didn't do anything, it just stared at me like it was thinking about what to do with me.It silently picked me up, and brought me to the other side of the reservoir.

My shirt was still a bit wet, and its not like its gonna dry any quicker so i put it on. The squid-dog latex creature followed me all the way back to pix, it didn't really harm me as much as it did creep me out.

Pix had some how found a water resistant cardboard box to take a nap in, i really didn't want to disturb them so i just leaned up against the equally wet wall and fell asleep.
