All the Face were destroyed making all of them cry out of joy only to get ruined by the news of Acnologia's appearance. Eve immediately pull M/N over to a safe place wanting him to stay there but M/N refused repeatedly making the latter worried and a little panic until Hibiki took the initiative to make M/N unconscious earning a glare from Eve from his brutal acts.

Hibiki: What? I was doing you a favour. Besides, you wouldn't want him in on the dangerous wars when he has no power right?

Eve: Fine, hit my boyfriend next time and I'll show you a bad time!

Hibiki: Understood.

Blue pegasus went along to help the dragons but could only waver under the humongous magic pressure of the two fighting dragons. Then they find their way over to Natsu and Gray fighting over a book.

Hibiki: I didn't know you guys are the kind to fight for a book?

Natsu&Gray: Shut up!

Eve: Don't tease them Hibiki, we're here to help. Wait Gray, your book's missing.

Gray: Huh?

Natsu: Gray!!!!

Gray: What! I didn't do anything!!!

Then they met the rumoured dark wizard Zeref holding the book in his hand as he casually walked over. A weak hand reached out to him as he spare him a glance. After hearing his blabber, he returned the demon back to his original book form and incinerates it just making Eve mouth gaping at the cruelty of destroying his own very creation. After making a snark comment about bringing despair about, Zeref left in the fog disappearing the second after the fog gone away.

Natsu: I'll get him next time.

Gray: Oh shut your trap flame brain.

Natsu: What the hell you...

Eve: There they go again.

Hibiki: Fairy tail have always been so lively.

Eve: Yeah. Let's get going now. M/N must be waiting for me. He'll be all grumpy when he wakes up hehehe.

Hibiki: Ha, like puff out his face kinda grumpy?

Eve: Yeah, it's actually very cute when he's like that. But I don't know if he'll forgive me for leaving him like that.

Hibiki: Oh come on, I'm the one who did it. No need to worry. I'll explain it to him.

Just then, the ear deafening roar of the two dragons blasted nearby as both dragons went at each other for the last and final strike. Devastating as it seemed Igneel lost from the looks of losing a claw and a part of his stomach. Acknologia's claw got bit off too, but instead of that, he's unscathed. What a terrifying and powerful dragon. Igneel descend and a large fire ball blue blast from Acknologia, totally sweeping Igneel off his feet. Igneel died and so was the other dragons.

Their supposedly dragon slayers cried and grieved after them, but they'll be okay. They'll carry their dragon parents will to the future and beat the shit out of that black dragon. That they swear, especially Natsu after seeing his father Igneel's death and crying for the first time after 7th of Julai x777.

When Eve got back home, he was faced with grumpy and pouty M/N still injured and tired but decided to turn his back on Eve. Eve could only chuckle and walk up to him. Hugging his boyfriend from behind only to have the latter struggle gently but still kept his hug. Eve crawl in bed with M/N as M/N hug him back.

M/N: Remind me to kill Hibiki the next time I see him.

Eve: Hee hee hee... Of course N/N. But you know, we're just worried for you.

M/N: I know. I never blamed you guys. I just don't like feeling so useless while you guys are out fighting for the city's safety. It just make me feel like I'm unworthy of you. Like I'm a burden holding you guys back.

Eve: M/N L/N you shut the hell up this instance!

M/N: Yes sir!

Eve: You are the most prized thing I've ever got in my entire life that made me think I must've done so much good in my past life to ever have someone like you as my husband! You are brave, courageous, kind-hearted and most importantly you love me for who I am. You made me the way I am now and no one not even yourself can doubt that!

M/N: Eve...

Eve: You hear me!

Eve: Mm...

M/N leaned in to kiss the blonde he love so much and drag him back to bed. They touched and caress each other, craving for one another like they're in heat. After a few cowboy position ejaculations, Eve grew tired and went to sleep in his messy state on top of M/N. Parting the sweat soaked bangs to the side, M/N left a loving little kiss on top of his fore head. Then he got up to clean up the mess they made. Changing up the bed sheets and changing Eve into clean comfy clothes of his. The oversized pyjamas made Eve look cute as ever.

M/N can't help but kiss him deeply yet again corrupting a unconscious moan from the blond followed by a smack to the face because Eve can't breathe. M/N just stunned for a second and laugh from his cute boyfriend's action.

Throwing the laundry into the washing machine, he returned to his big comfy bed and back to his lover's embrace. Thinking back to the lack of memory during his disappearance he can't help but think it's because someone knew about his special ability. That made him a bit worried but so far there's nothing so he just need to keep an eye out on Eve and wish that nothing happen could get in their way of happiness.

A groan from his lover and a hand wrapping around his waist followed by a few mutter from his lover snap him out of his thoughts and he chuckled finally turning in for the night. With his angel by his side, there will be nothing to worry about...
