I have been visiting the palace, texting you everyday, sending letters.. You aren't there.

You promised me Sadie, you said you weren't going to leave me, but you did.

I'm not with Jake anymore, my parents left from the house you bought. I went to the grass land we called our special place, i started going there daily with hopes to find you there. A always, you weren't there.

That would be the last time. Last everything for me.

I left a letter there, on the blanket we used to come to almost everyday, talk and smile.

I never quite got why i felt that way around you, each time we talked, every time you smiled, every time you blushed, every time you hugged me. But i get it now.

I fell in love with you.

I went home, it was time. I grabbed a bottle of pills i had and sat there on my bed, thinking about what reactions my family would have, how sad they would be.

I decided i should wait a while, to think and remember a few memories.

SADIE

I'm done. I have to get out of here. Being locked up in your room for 2 months is not fun, at all.

With all my strength, i grabbed a flower vase i had in my room, and ran up to the window, hitting it and breaking it, i already knew my parents would be alarmed, before that i had covered the door with a huge sofa that was in my room.

I used the curtains to go down, and when there was no more curtain left, i jumped.

I fell to the group, hurting my leg a bit but not caring and getting up.

I managed to leave just in time before the guards came out to look for me. I went to the grass land, i used to go with Millie, if i was lucky she would be there.

When i got there, she was not there, only a piece of paper laying on the ground.

I grabbed it, and unfolded it to read it quickly.

Dear Sadie.

We haven't talked in a while. You are gone now, you don't care, right?

It's ok, if you are reading this i'll probably be in a better place now.

You promised you wouldn't leave me, remember?

It was all just a lie i guess.

I was confused, but when i read "Be in a better place" I got scared. I quickly got up and went running to the house i had bought for Millie on Christmas.

I got there three minutes later, and climbed a tree to get to the window. I opened the window and entered the room, i paled at the sight.

Millie, lying on her bed, an open bottle of pills on the floor, i ran up to her and shaked her body.

-Millie! Millie please wake up! Millie!- I screamed, already crying.

-No no no no no! Come on Millie please!- I begged, getting no response.

I picked her up bridal style and called Maya with Millie's phone.

-Hello Ms. Brown.-

-MAYA! COME TO MILLIE'S HOUSE NOW PLEASE!-

-Sadie? Aren't you groun-

-NOW MAYA PLEASE!-

You could tell i was crying from the end of the phone.

-On my way.-

Maya got there soon later, not asking any questions. 

-Hospital, please!-

I kept begging for Millie to wake up, even tho i knew it was in vain.

I kept repeating in my head the same thing. 

What if i'm too late?
