We both ended up sleeping there for the rest of the night, and soon enough the time came i had to say goodbye and leave from the palace to my poor house.
I got to the place i called home, and was first greeted by my mom, who was pissed.
-Where were you?!- She asked.
-Would you be mad if i told you i was at the royal palace, watching movies with one of the most loved person in the country?- I said with a nervous smile.
-I asked where you were, not where you wanted to be!- My mom yelled.
-That would be the case, but i'm not lying.- I said, showing her the letter i got yesterday, she widened her eyes, not believing it.
-B- but why?!?!? Why would they invite you, all of us are just poor farmers.-
I just smiled and walked into the house, and headed to my room with a smile.
I got changed and headed to the park, with Winnie my dog in my hands, to go walk or just lay down on the grass.
I was about to go home but a boy came up to me, not that tall and nice hair.
-Hey there! My name is Jacob, and you are?-
-Uhm, my name is Millie.-
-Nice to meet you Millie, i was walking around and saw you, i noticed you are very pretty..-
-Oh. Thank you but i am not interested in a couple right now.- I said, i was uncomfortable, i just wanted to go home and play with my sister, or go out and talk with Sadie for a while.
-Who said you had to be interested?- He said with a smug smile planted on his face.
I felt four arms grab on by behind, pushing me against the brick wall that was behind me.
-No! Stop it!- I yelled, tears starting to fall from my eyes.
-You'll like it princess, trust me.- Said Jacob, coming closer and wrapping his hand around my thigh trying to get up my dress.
-HEY! IDIOTS!- Someone yelled behind them, the voice was familiar but i couldn't quite catch who it was that was yelling.
Jacob and the other two boys got scared at the voice, and left running.
I colapsed to the group, crying and holding my knees up to my chest, using them as a pillow.
I felt two soft hands hug me, i got scared at first but relaxed once i realized it was Sadie.
I hugged her back, starting to sob, while she rubbed my back.
