There she stood. The courier. Strolled in as if she owned the place. Benny could feel the heat rising within him.

What in the goddamn, he thought, watching her relaxed movements.

Her small body looked frail under her blue dress, they matched her eyes. Messy hair tied into a cute ponytail. Wispy strands of hair framed her pale face. Her soft cheeks glowed. Her skin was clean and smooth.

She seemed harmless.

Mostly harmless.

That broad. The least likely person to walk across the Mojave Wasteland after being shot in the head and even get into the Lucky 38. She'd made quite a name for herself.

She had sweet smile that reached her eyes, a calm and delicate blue. He could've sworn, as they met his, her harmless smile fading into a sly smirk.

It was her. There was no denying.

Her cunning innocence gave it away. Despite her simple dress, he knew she was hiding something. Even as she gave all of her weapons to the chairman, he saw a glint of a blade sparkle through the thin fabric.

Sneaky. Skilful. Capable. This was who he was dealing with. Who else would be given the job to deliver the Platinum Chip?

It was her. There was no other possibility. But Benny continued to struggle to accept the reality that stared him dead in the face.

She was alive.

He had spent so long trying to find the Platinum Chip. He'd only just finally tracked it down, leading to him to her.

He, along with the Great Khans, followed her.

Ambushed her.

Put a fucking bullet through her head.

Watched as her tiny body became limp and fell to the ground.

They even took the time to dig her grave. They shovelled the dry dirt onto her, covering the dead girl entirely. Had they just buried someone alive? But she wasn't. He'd pointed the gun at her at point-blank. There was no way, she wasn't dead.

What a shock it was to see her, a month later, causally walking into his goddamn casino. A shock, perhaps, that was bigger than Vegas.

As soon as he gotten the chip off of her, he had been able to get some sleep. With the chip in his possession, he was one step closer to taking Vegas.

But this broad was going to take it all away. She had to be dealt with, quickly. It wasn't going to be easy.

Her smirked said it all.

She was dangerous.
