Benny simply stated at the girl, if she didn't want revenge, what did she want?

"The Platinum Chip. What is it?" She asked suddenly.

"What?"

"Both you and Mr House have been desperately trying to get their hands on it. So what is it?"

He took a deep breath in. He couldn't just tell anyone what it was. But she wasn't anyone. "It's House's way of controlling the Securitrons. If I have it, I can take over Vegas."

She seemed surprised at his explanation of it. It seemed like such a small thing that could do so much. She could see why they both wanted it so bad but unfortunately for them, it was in her hands.

He watched her thoughtfully, trying to read her. He was so busy, attempting to figure her out that he didn't notice when she got up until she grabbed him by the hand.

He wasn't the only one who seemed unsure of their actions. The grip she had was strong but he could feel the hesitation.

The awkward air between them was broken by her pulling him into her, so they were chest to chest. Even on her toes, she had trouble reaching up to him so he slid his arms around her waist, slightly hoisting her up.

"And now, House has it," he breathed out deeply. The words were slowly and carefully drawn out of his mouth. As if he didn't want to accept it. Luckily for him, he was wrong. But it was her turn to receive her end of the deal.

Each syllable barely touched his ears despite her lips grazing his lobe. It seemed like time had frozen as the two were positioned there, in each other's embrace. He almost thought she was bluffing but this wasn't something you could so easily lie about. Her grin was bigger than his ego, but let's be honest, it had shrunk incredibly since he'd met her two hours ago.

"You have the Platinum Chip," he simply repeated, waiting for the words to make sense.

"And I'll give it to you." She didn't move away from his ear but she'd see that his eyes became desperate. Like a stray dog begging for a bone to chew. They usually whimper but he just stayed silent. "But," she paused, letting the tension rise before uttering the words, "I want in."
