Picking berries from bushes, closely inspecting it to check if it weren't poisonous. You were supposed to leave today but finally changed your mind because of a certain indigo haired man.
It took a lot of attempts for Scaramouche to finally convince you to stay a little longer. He kept pestering you for hours, becoming restless as he persuades you in every way, by I mean everyway... everyway. You felt flustered yet can't help but chuckle at his cute attempts. You knew he was trying with his all might just to make you stay by his side and keep him company. Your heart swelled at the fact.
Can't seeming to win an argument against him, you gave up and agreed on staying, abandoning your duties as a harbinger just because of a boy. A warm smile made way to your lips by just the thought of the male. You felt oddly warm and fuzzy. It made you feel at peace, a feeling that you only felt for Emilia, Yuu and Childe but in a more different way that you just can't seem to point it out exactly. You were supposed to be out, killing people left to right if one dares stir trouble for the fatui but no. You were busy collecting berries for Scaramouche so the two of you can eat it once you get back.
A happy hum escapes your lips as you walk towards a tree. Your eyes brightens as your eyes spot an apple hanging. Your arm extends to garb the apple but pouts seeing that it was too high.
Curse your mini height. You swore in your archon's name that you'll become tall once you hit a certain age.
Letting out a groan of frustration, tiptoeing just to reach the fruit. Hearing soft rustling behind you, your face darkens after you sensed a presence behind you. No human would have noticed it but since you were more abnormal that regular mortals you quickly took notice of a slow figure approaching, ready to attack you in the back. After you got a hold on the fruit, you quickly grabbed a dagger under your kimono spinning around and aimed the knife at the person's neck. To your shock you saw Yuu shrieking and sweating nervously as your blade made contact to his neck, shivering slightly when he realized how close he was to death. Yet, he covered it up with a playful and nervous grin.
"Is this how you greet me after disappearing for five days?" he coos still breaking into a sweat. After realizing what caused him to react like this, you quickly spun the dagger between your fingers before smoothly hiding it under your kimono. His once tense shoulders slumped down, relaxing after you put the dagger away. "What are you doing here?" you asked the male. Before he can open his mouth to speak you cut him off when you realize something.
