Getting Her Back (Aleheather)

Chapter 4.

Third Person POV:

  No one could believe the odds of any of the past twenty fours happening.

After getting a frantic call from Amelia only two hours after ending the meeting, everyone packed as fast as possible and got on a plane to D.C.

Alejandro was deep asleep as they landed, and the others could tell he is not physically and mentally prepared for the reunion.

At least not that night.

"We can't let her see him like this!" Cody whispers to the others while eyeing his friends.

"I know I know, but he didn't listen to me when I told him to stay home tonight." Bridgette adds looking at him as well.

"How did that seemingly indestructible man turn to a complete child in less than 24 hours?" Gwen asks quietly but no one had an answer.

"What should we do?" "He can't join us obviously." Courtney says crossing her arms as she leans into Duncan.

"Okay, but where is he going to go then?" The group eye each other already knowing the answer.

"Ugh fine, but someone is going to have to stay and keep an eye on him." Everyone starts shaking their head and few giggles went through the team.

"Come on, I can't stay! Out of all of us, I'm the closest to Heather." Cody points out as Bridgette and Sierra glare at him.

"Fine fine, Trent and I will stay back and watch him. Just please find a way for us to communicate with each other without phones." Gwen says finally giving in.

"Thank you!" The girls hug Gwen and relief flows through Cody.

The airplane door finally opens and the gang starts to exit and head towards the cars waiting outside for them.

"Alejandro!" Cody yells tapping the Spaniards shoulder.

"Wake up!" "I'm awake!" Alejandro yells back as he rubs his eyes and slowly stands up.

He knew they were talking about him, but he didn't have the energy in him to say anything.

The Spaniard grabs his things and slowly makes his way towards the cars.

Everyone knew how big of a fight it will be to keep him locked in the hotel room, but it will be all worth it in the end.

That's what everybody is hoping for.

Right as they arrived to the Hotel, Amelia was already checking in with her husband.

"Oh thank god you guys made it." Relief washes over her seeing the group walk in.

"Once you guys get your rooms, meet in ours so we can discuss the plan." She gives them a small smile before heading to the elevator.

Courtney lets out a tried sigh and leans into Duncan.

"It's going to be a long three days."

"Hold on, so you're saying I have to stay here while Heather is just across the street from me! No!" Alejandro's voice booms through the room.

Everyone didn't have the heart to tell him he's not ready yet, but someone had to do it.

"It's dangerous for you to be out there right now. Besides you're a complete mess currently, and I don't think Heather would find that attractive." Courtney bluntly states as she finishes getting ready.

"Todos sois estúpidos? I'm not staying her while Hea-"

Before he could finish his sentence Trent, Duncan, and Geoff tackle him onto the bed, slipping a melatonin gummy in his mouth.
