It was a normal afternoon for Stephen, he just clocked in and served a scruffy looking man a glass of whisky. He introduced himself as Logan.

A few minutes later two men walk in, one has light brown hair and the other has hair that's a darker brown, the pair walk over to Logan. The three had a short conversation and Logan waved you over while holding up his empty glass. Stephen walked over to the man with more with the bottle of whiskey. He poured it in his cup and sat the bottle down. Stephen nodded his head at the two other men.

'Want something to drink?' The lighter brunette shook his head and grabbed the others arm and they walked out of the bar.

'What a weird couple?' Stephen just shrugged it off and continued with his shift.

A few hours later his shift ended and he packed up his stuff and waited for Gale to get here.

"What's up dork." Gale walked in the back door. Stephen glared at him.

'Your late.'

"Oh come on don't be like that Stevie.' Stephen glared harder.

'I'm leaving.'

Stephen walked into his apartment and took off his shoes. He pulled up his shirt and took it off. Walking to his kitchen he opened his fridge for some water. He walked back to the living room and the lamp light that stands next to his couch in clicked on.

He was frozen he couldn't move, literally he could move no matter how hard he tried.

"I'm Charles and this is Erik, sorry about the break in but we couldn't think of anything else as your shift ended when we found you.

'They were the ones at the bar!'

~'Yes we were.'~

'The fuck?!'

~'Calm down me and Erik are both mutants too.'~Stephen physically relaxed and Charles unfroze him.

'What do you want?'

"We're here because we need your help."

'With what?'

"A man named Sebastian Shaw threatens the world with nuclear war. We need mutants to stop him."

'Why me though.'

"We need all the mutants we can get."

'Fine. But let me grab a few things.'
