Driftmark

AFTER BREAKFAST had finished, Alicent Hightower stood tall, everyone's attention shifted towards the second queen. She had been quiet all along the breakfast unlike her husband, Viserys. "I'd like to humbly thank all of you for the lovely breakfast and hospitality you've given us, but it is time for us to yet leave back for Kings Landing," Alicent's voice held venom from the night before. "Alicent, please," the King whispered softly towards his wife, who did not waver. With a sigh, the sick king rose from his seat.

"As my wife had stated before, I thank all of you for the hospitality we've been gifted with. Although I have one last request before we depart," The King announced, everyone perked up, the kings gaze shifted towards his brother's firstborn, "Would you allow me to see Valerion? I'd like to see how much he resembles Balerion," The old man's voice faded slowly at his last sentence, he missed the black dread although only haven ridden him once; he was a glorious beast.

"Of course, your grace," The Princess pushed her chair back with her feet and rose onto her feet, carefully taking hold of her uncle's free hand whilst the other of his held the walking stick, she led him outside to her great beast that flew above the Driftmark castle, Aerys and Urrax alongside. Everyone that had sat inside the hall for breakfast had left with them, everyone had been curious of the Valyrian trio except Alicent, but she came along eitherway. A whistling sound came from Lunarys, the noise spread through the cold morning breeze, roars erupted in the skies as Valerion, Aerys and Urrax changed their directions towards the ground.

Aerys and Urrax were the first to land further away next to another, leaving space in the middle front for Valerion. The landing of the two great beasts caused the grounds to shake, the King's features lit up at the sight of the Dragons. When Valerion landed, the merry foundation of Driftmark gave the sound off of cracking stone, the dirt beneath his talons when he impacted rippled. Fangs baring as a low hissy growl left his septum. Aerys and Urrax stepped forward with heavy, earth shaking steps of their talons and wing legs to stand next to their larger leader.

"Here he is, your grace," Lunarys whispered softly as she released her hand from the King's. Valerion's neck lowered, his muzzle meeting to be faced with the sick king. The Golden beast puffed smoke from out of his nostrils, blowing such into King Viserys face. The king couldn't help but smile weakly, reaching out his free hand to gently drag pale digits across the dusted scaly surface of the Dragon's muzzle side. "He's stunning, I thank you for showing him to me, dear niece," The king spoke with a soft voice as his upper limb slowly pulled away and the dragons head rose.

"Sovēs," Lunarys commanded Aerys and Urrax, who roared before raising their wings and lifting themselves back into the sky. Valerion remained with his rider. Soft skin collided with that of hers as she watched her Dragons fly further upwards, her gaze snapped towards her side; It was Lucerys who had sneakily approached her and taken her hand into his. She noticed by now, he was very touchy, always holding her hand — but she did not mind. Lucerys was by a couple months older than her and a bit smaller in height, but that didn't stop him from being like an actual baby around Lunarys.
