" Do you think I'd hit her for absolutely no reason?? ...Sometimes I wish my mom understood me... I wish I could stand with my mates and boast of the things my mom tells me and does for me! " I yelled
" What's going on here? " Maya said as she enters the house "I can hear your voices from meters away " she added

I wasn't interested in whatever they were going to talk about I tried my best to hold my tears and went upstairs.. no matter how weak I was I wasn't going to let my weakness show infront of my family most especially my mom
I locked my door and lied down... What if I ended it all. What if I just killed myself and gave my mom the happiness she has always wanted
It was just too much! And I was getting tired
I was just about to cut myself before I heard a knock on the door
" Who's there? " I asked
" Open up Melie, it's Maya " she said
I opened the door and she came in .. she sat on my bed and waited for me to join her
I'm not gonna say anything I know you're mad and you have the right to be ... But I called your friends over for a sleepover maybe that might cheer you up and they might know you better than I could ever so they'll know what to do... And-
I rushed and hugged her before she could finish her sentence

" I love u too... Meanwhile we could do something before Louis and Marga are here.. ok "

We started playing would you rather and it was pretty fun...

We both busted out laughing

Louis and Marga came in
"OMG you came!!, Did u see my mom ? What did she say?? " I asked curiously
"Girl easy with the question.. this is not an interview you know... We didn't see anyone we just came up here" Marga said
" I guess I'll leave now I have assignments to finish, Louis and Marga take care of her for me ... Bye baby sis" Maya said as she got up to take her leave
"Sure we will Maya, thanks for inviting us over.. she's our friend and we'll do anything for her" Louis said
" Good , I like that .. see y'all tomorrow" she replied left
"Bye Aya" I said as I waved to her
"Ok so where should I put my bags?" Louis asked
" On my head " I told him
He placed the bags on my head and I felt like I was gonna die.. it was so heavy and it felt like my head will split into two halves
"Jesus Christ Louis!! What the hell is in your bag??
Your grandma's head??" I asked jokingly
We all laughed and I helped them back their bags gave them towels and they took their baths individually.. We all sat on the floor and put on Netflix on the TV we watched Squid Game and other TV shows
"I'm bored" Marga complained
" Ugh what do u want us to do huh?" I asked
"Idk ... Probably dance on the moon " Louis said
" Why do I have the most stupid friends ever " I said
" Let's just go to bed.. it's like 11pm already, and we have school tomorrow" Marga said
" Well... Ok then you're right so we can be up early in the morning" I replied
I lied on my bed with Marga and Louis had to sleep with Martin since he's a boy.. but he wanted to stay a while and play games before he slept
" Melie? " Marga called
" Yh.. sup " I replied as I faced her

" I saw ur cuts... They seem deep why? " She said

We all laughed
" Yh but i don't know today I feel sleepy lemme give it a chance " I said
" Ok girlie gnight " Martin said " I'll go join Martin... And make peace with him remember we argued in school today because of the whole Cassie situation " he added

He opened the door to leave
" Wait! Umm before u go.. Let's make a promise...
To be besties forever and none of us won't turn our backs on this friendship, we'll be here for one another and stick side by side till the end of the storm? " I told them
" Deal " they both said as we held hands and made the promise
"Ok, I'll go now girls.. goodnight " Louis
" Goodnight Lou" we both said
I switched off the lamp and closed my eyes to sleep but I couldn't I switched it back on and turned to Marga to talk to her ... But she was fast asleep
I just realized how kinda lucky I was
They were blessings and I love them
At this point I can say we'll be BESTIES for the RESTIES!!!!
