Festooned with colourful garlands of Marigolds and designed alpana, felt the Haveli in its majesty with the noise echoing from each corner blended with the laughter and giggles.

The doorstep and garden at the front were garnished with demure hues. The Lotus feet of Maa Lakshmi touched the Lotus, giving rise to an energetic aura in its vibrant infant baby tinge.

A small dais for Maa Kali was flamboyant at the edges of the backyard for ceremonious veneration. Shrines surrounded the area. Kaka sat near the deity, bestowing some souvenirs in front of Devi with his heart-- Hibiscus blossoms, Mishti's and Ann.

He sat with children along with Shashwati, as they occupied him to narrate the stories.

"There isn't only one story. Enormous there are. Numerous values there are. But what we acknowledge from our traditions and values in our lives is important. Remember,
Tamso Maa Jyotirgamaya, That means may the light of knowledge remove the darkness of ignorance. Deep= Light and Avali= continuous rows. This festival isn't only about adorning lamps in abundance. It's about illuminating the sacred inner lights of ourselves, away from the pious darkness. Initiating the new journey by lighting the bright flame of lamps within our whole heart and intellect. Towards the truth. To the home", He explained as stroked the babysitter. Infant Twins were gazing at him with their aloof playful eyes.

Chewing his lips, Batuk wandered his hands around sweets to have them but instead got a whack on his head from his Boudi. "Don't! Ask the kids first", he groaned hearing her classy lectures, after years.

Well, some things never change. But he was enjoying the feeling of being with family. After all, she got him back even after his acts during Bondita's pregnancy. His Boudi was Great!

Smiling exquisitely. She hummed the extravagance of heart as her dazzling brown fur glowed with the flame of Pitambar. Donned in Golden red embroidered Benarasi Saree, she lit up the small Deep's all around the Haveli. Thick locks of her tresses sought liberation, dancing on her cheek, escaping the prison of her bun.

Two desperate black orbs peeked at her from behind the pillars of the gigantic Roy Chowdhury Haveli. Aniruddh's lips twisted in a playful smirk as he saw his wife enlightening his house with her grace. A pout reached his lips upon noticing that her eyes weren't sparing a single glance at him. He looked cute. "Hey, Aniruddh! Come here. Why are you sticking to the pillar like a lizard?" Kaka chided him, from his job. Kids, along with Batuk, laughed at his expense. Giggling, Bondita strolled towards the study with a Thaal in her hand. Aniruddh followed Bondita behind, not before sparing a reluctant scowl to his Kaka.

Kabab mein haddi!

She bent down to place some lamps onto the floor of the study. A thought into crept Anirudh's head and nonchalantly, he rolled around her in circles his hands folded.

As if Earth rotating in its orbit while taking revolutions around
His Sun.

She rose with broadened eyes and thinned brows, amused. "What are you doing?".

"Doing Parikrama... Of My Sansaar", His words fluttered her heart as she stood numb with scarlet cheeks. He halted as he finished three rotations.

Her eyes turned glassy. " Remember? You used to do the same" He stepped closer to her keeping Thaal aside.
"Shubh Deepavali... Bondita".

"Shubh Deepavali... Pati Babu!" She whispered.

Perhaps this wasn't their first Diwali. However, it was! After their official marriage... This was the first because as the other one was drowned in river as they were seperated.
