Meeting eachother

3:30pm
Wednesday Afternoon.

Enid sits in her dorm, tapping the keys on her computer gently, searching up dress design ideas, as the prom is in 3 months she likes to prepare early.

Muffled footsteps become louder as the door is pushed open with a creak.

Enid turns her head to see the new room-mate she had been expecting.

Thunder rumbles outside the glass stained window as the girl walks in.

"Hello!" Enid says with a smile as she stands up to greet the new girl.

"Who are you?" The pale girl asks.

"My name is Enid, I'm your room-mate, it's nice to meet you"

"Pleasure.." as the girl reaches out to shake Enid's hand.

That was the first physical touch the two had experienced.

"And you are?" Enid asks politely.

"Wednesday... Wednesday Addams"

"Addams? Like as in Morticia and Gomez addams? Wow, your parents are like.. famous here." Enid says curiosily.

"I have noticed." Wednesday looks around the room, taking it all in.

Enid grabs wednesdays hand and gently pulls her towards her side of the room to show her everything.

"So this is your bed, closet.. everything you need, just call me if you need me :)" Enid says.

"Will do." Wednesday obeys.

7:00pm
Dinner
Wednesday evening

The speakers echo.
"Everyone make your way to the hall for dinner."

Enid gets up to leave but realises Wednesday doesn't know where she's going.

"Oh, Wednesday, here just follow me" Enid grabs her hand again.

Wednesday feels .. different.

Wednesday follows Enid down the stairs and through the corridors until they reach a huge door, wide open.

On the inside was a huge hall filled with long tables and benches to sit on.

"Just stay with me" Enid advises

Wednesday nods.

They sit down together with a few others around them.

Dinner finished around 8:00pm and everyone had to be in bed by 9:00pm and asleep by 9:30pm.

"Hey, Wednesday, come with me."

Wednesday cluelessly followed.

She had met Enid only a few hours before, and felt more connected to her then she ever had with anyone outside of family.
