"You what?" Enid's eyes are wide.

"I know, it's so obvious.." Wednesday says blankly.

"How is it obvious, it's not obvious?" Enid says, worried.

"Are you stupid?" Wednesday says pointing to the huge pride flag on the wall beside Enid's bed, and the lesbian sweater, and the 'girl in red' poster above Enid's bedside table.

"Oh.." Enid sighs

"Well yeah.. you got me, I'm gay I guess.." Enid says.

"Why didn't you tell me Enid?" Wednesday asks confusedly.

"I trust you Wednesday, but I also trusted every other girl in this school.." Enid says bluntly.

"I've had 47 different room-mates, which I all came out too.."

"And?" Wednesday asks for continuation.

"And they all left, they said 'they weren't comfortable living with someone who might try to kiss them.' Or something like that.." Enid tears up a little bit.

Wednesday hugs Enid.

"I would never do that to you Enid." Wednesday says.

"Thankyou Wednesday." Enid says with a shivering voice.

They let go of eachother.

Wednesday wipes Enid's tears.

"Its gonna be okay, think about how fun prom is gonna be." Wednesday assures.

Enid nods and smiles.

Less than 3 months after Enid's coming out
6:30pm
Friday evening

"Ow- Wednesday chill-" Enid says.

"Ssh, stop fussing, I'm just braiding your hair."

Wednesday stands behind a chair with Enid in it, braiding her hair for the prom.

Enid is in a long, dark pastel pink dress.

And Wednesday is in a black, tough looking dress, but it suits her.

"Thanks for making me this dress, it's horrible, I love it so much." Wednesday says.

"Thanks I guess?" Enid laughs.

"Okay done, spin around I want these braids to live a little." Wednesday gets Enid up off the chair.

Wednesday grabs Enid by the hand and spins her around.

She takes her up to the mirror.

"Well? What do you think?" Wednesday asks

"I love them!!" Enid smiles.

The two walk hand in hand out the door.

"Let's do this Enid." Wednesday says

The two nod at eachother and leave the apartment.
