Whispers of the Willowing Woods

Preface

          It has been said that if you want something in life, you'll have to work for it, even if it takes a

 hefty-lot of time. However, should you remain persistent towards that goal of yours, you'll get

 it....eventually. I've always been fond of all-things creative. Animated movies, the stories they

 tell, the colors and worlds, everything. I've always felt a certain awe towards them, and it made

 me wonder if I can invoke the same feeling to others, and possibly myself as well. It's the...how

 do I put this..."Joy of Creation" that sets the spark in when creating works like these. As a writer,

 I do not have a lot of experience when it comes to writing stories; maybe a little when writing

 scripts or stories for school, but that's about it. This is probably the first time I'm writing a fully

 fleshed-out story. Well, a short one anyway; and a collection of them. It's an anthology. Look it

 up. Even if so, that's not going to stop me from trying to write a decent literary work anyway. I

 personally decided to write this anthology as a form of practice for me. It does not matter if it's

 good or bad, as long as I can learn more about what I can do and avoid doing to improve myself

 further. You there, the reader. Yes you. This anthology will take you to the world of the Willowing

 Woods, where you'll find magical creatures, each with their own stories to tell. I personally hope

 their stories may be able to resonate with you in some way, and that you may be able to feel

 immersed in this mystical world of theirs. Overall, I do hope I get to feel the happiness of

 expressing my works with the rest of the world; the excitement of weaving stories that may

 somehow click with the hearts and minds of people; the Joy of Creation. However, it has been

 stated that I am still inexperienced, so I have a long long way to go. There's no doubt that I still

 have much to learn from others and myself, but I do hope this can be a start.
