Chapter 5

Kim is woken up by the alarm he set on his phone and quickly shuts it off with a groan. He does not feel rested at all, his limbs feel heavy and his eyes are burning. After their shower last night he and Porchay had made out some more in bed and had finally gone to sleep with Porchay snuggled up to Kim, resting his head on Kim's chest.

Kim has fallen asleep like that only one time in the past, months ago in Porchay's living room downstairs. Back then he managed to get some sleep, dozing for most of the time though, because he had never really meant to sleep on the couch that time. This time he wanted to sleep and he managed to fall asleep a couple of times, but was woken up each time, because this sleeping arrangement does not work for him at all: Them sharing one mattress where he can feel each and every movement of Porchay is too much for someone like him, who basically jumps for his gun with every weird sound and every unknown movement in the room. Additionally, Porchay kicks in his sleep, tosses and turns and Kim had been tempted to either kick back or go and sleep on the floor next to the bed so he could duck and cover. So this, sleeping together on this narrow mattress, as much as Kim likes the thought of sharing a bed with his boyfriend and cuddling him all night long, is not something he sees happening again, because the reality of it is a lot different from the romantic idea he had. The only thing that would make it worse, is if he's snore on top of it.

"Mmm...morning," Porchay mumbles and rolls over towards him, moving close and throwing one arm over Kim's middle, a leg follows. At least he doesn't get hit in the face or the groin again this time. "You're still here."

"Morning," Kim replies and places a kiss on Porchay's messy hair.

"You talk in your sleep," Porchay complains without opening his eyes. Kim can't hold back a loud snort.

"You nearly broke my nose in your sleep."

"What?" Porchay opens his eyes and looks up at Kim.

"You hit and kick in your sleep. You got a few good kicks and punches in. If I didn't know you were asleep, I'd think you're still getting your revenge in," Kim explains.

"Mh, sorry. Porsche used to complain about that, too," Porchay admits a bit sheepishly.

"You should be exhausted from your workout. I know I am from ducking and dodging," Kim teases him, because he likes the way Porchay blushes slightly.

"Phi Kiiiim," Porchay rubs his head against his chest, hiding from his eyes for a moment. "Do you want to go back to sleep?" He offers then.

"Want? Yes. But I know I can't,"Kim sighs. "You can always make it up to me. There's a reason we set an alarm for eight." He combs his fingers through Porchay's bird's nest of hair with a smile.

"I might. What do you have in mind?" Porchay mirrors his smile.

"How about a kiss?"

"Phi, we haven't brushed our teeth yet. I don't want to kiss you with smelly breath."

Kim groans again. "You know, sleeping together in one bed and waking up together might not be as romantic as people make it out to be. My arm fell asleep from you lying on it, then I get kicked and punched in the face and my dick, the mattress made me nearly seasick and now I don't even get a kiss because of morning breath. I see separate bedrooms in our future," Kim rants.

"Oh my god!" Porchay starts laughing. "Now I know what our brothers mean when they call you a spoiled brat! Rich people, seriously! You need some mood lights and a certain mattress hardness to fall asleep?" Kim watches as Porchay teases him and laughs. Yes, he is used to having a king sized bed to himself and no, he doesn't tolerate anyone sleeping in one room with him usually, let alone one bed... or a single teeny tiny single-bed mattress.
