Shadow gripped his head, none remembering what happened last night, he ear twitches when he heard heartbeats and he his eyes shot open to see the two black and red eggs, the first one was freezing, while the other one was still warm, and covered in blood, he missed the second laying of his egg, he presses his ear up to the warm egg, and he eyes widen at hearing more than one heartbeat, which explains why it was bigger than the first one. "Sonic! I-" he was caught off of his sentence when he heard the soft sound of someone crying, and whimpering, he flatten his eyes at remembering the sound, he turned his attention, Sonic was covered in blood, but in his own, deep cuts all over his body and some fresh bruising, his fur was sticky on places, and he was sobbing.

"What happened? Did I do that to him...please don't tell me I lost control..." Shadow thought to himself. He goes over to Sonic gently places a hand on his shoulder, making the blue hedgehog wince and flinch back, "N-No...D-Don't touch me..." He said between his sobs.

Sonic called him, Shadow felt like his heart shattered into millions of pieces, but he reached his hand out before pulling it back, he obeyed his orders from his Queen, and just kept his distance, he can feel the tears in his own eyes, the one thing he didn't want Sonic see...what that animalistic side of himself and now he feared the worst.
