Vampires.. Real?

Hey! Can't believe this book got so many reads. Thank you for the support and I hope you enjoy this story. This is when Dream got turned. 

Dream was mapping out a plan to approach these vampires tomorrow night. He just needed to kill one or even obtain some proof that they existed! He was considered the town "crazy" ever since the mayor made him "Head of the Vampire Elimination Program", also known as a vampire hunter. The mayor mainly did it though so the town would get more popularity with vampires roaming. Dream would show them! He would show them all-

"Brother can we go get some food at the market together?" His sister asked. Dream couldn't help but smile.

He had always loved Drista. He would protect her with his life and she knew that. Dream wouldn't know what he would do if his sister died. 

"Of course! Come on, I will let you ride Spirit this time!" Drista's face brightened up.

"Yay!" She yelled as she ran to small stable where Dream kept his horse, Spirit. 

They trotted on the horse as Dream wrapped his arms protectively around his sister. They quickly bought some bread, fruit, and a cake at some stands and started heading home. Dream felt uneasy though... like somebody was watching him.

"This cake is so good!" Drista exclaimed as she shoved another piece in her mouth. 

Dream chuckled, "You have eaten so much cake!" 

"I am a growing girl." Drista teased. Dream was about to grab the last piece of cake before Drista stopped him.

"Hey! I want that-"

"Well I think we should save it when my big brother shows the town that he is the best! It can wait for you tomorrow when you finish your plan." Dream smiled.

"Don't worry. I'll eat that cake."

Drista hugged Dream, "Please don't do anything stupid brother."

"I won't don't worry..." Dream said, secretly trying to reassure himself.

Dream sighed as half the town stared at him. They knew he was going to look at the vampire myth called "The SBI Vampire Coven", but they were curious to see him come back with actual proof. Dream had his horse trot into the forest as he was worried at what lied ahead.

"Fuck Fuck FUCK!" Dream loudly whispered as an arrow shot his horse down. Spirit toppled over as Dream quickly dismounted her. Dream looked at Spirit with a tear in his eyes as he realized that they were poison arrows. 

"I'm so sorry Spirit..." Dream barely whispered. 

Clap. Clap. Clap.

"Well, well, well. Didn't think I would meet the town crazy." Dream's eyes widened as he figured out who it was. Techno. One of the SBI Coven members he was researching. They were real and he was going to die knowing that. Techno had a bow in his hands as he fiddled with it sadistically. Without any warning, Techno shot another arrow straight at his leg. Thankfully Dream dodged it to the point where it only grazed his leg. Might as well go out with a fight.

Dream grabbed the dagger out of his pocket. It was a special metal that could burn the bloodsucking opponent. Or at least he hoped. Dream pounced on Techno as he repeatedly punched him. Techno just laughed. Dream stabbed him with the dagger. The suspected scream of pain wasn't there... instead it was filled with laughter.

"You really didn't do your research. You of all people too! It's hard to kill a vampire." Techno snickered. He grabbed Dream's neck and slammed him against the tree, making a dent. He snatched the dagger as he cut's Dream's untouched face with a deep cut across his face.
