We put on these clothes
Not for you but for ourselves
Somehow you misconstrue
What these clothes mean
This short skirt does not say welcome
Our tank tops do not say please take me off
These tight jeans don't say explore our body
Those pajamas don't say we want you
Nothing we wear speaks to you
No matter if we're fully clothed
Or wearing nothing
Only our voice can give you consent
