Chapter 4: Revenge

Three months have passed, as we see Levi and his sister walking back to their home, the talked with each other

For a whole month Itchi Hanma hasn't broke into their home or interrupted with their daily life

Suddenly Dami stops as she looks frightened, Levi looks at her then what she's looking at and sees a pool of blood, the two slowly walk to the home as the blood trail was inside

The open the door to see a boy with black hair slicked back, he hears the door open and turns to face them

" Oh are you the residence of this place "

Dami- Yes

Levi- A Demon Slayer

" I see, also there is a boy upstairs, he's pretty shaken up "

Dami- I'll go check on who it is

Dani runs up leaving Levi and the Demon Slayer to talk

Levi- Hey Demon Slayer

" Yeah "

Levi- How much are you paid exactly

" Weird for a kid your age to be asking, but sure, we get paid...... "

Levi- Oh really, maybe I can be one too

" You can, but you should first learn a breath and be old enough "

Levi- A breath?

" Yes a breath technique, that all Demon Slayer have, these are attacks we use against demons "

Levi- Can you show me

" * sighs * Sure "

The Demon Slayer grabs his handleand draws his blade

" Mizu no Kokyū, Ichi no Kata: Water Surface Slash "

The Demon Slayer raises his blade then lowers it as water follows the blade

Levi- Cool

" Yeah, and with the help of these special swords we can kill demons "

Levi- Special swords-

Dami- Levi!!!! Go check outside if there's any blood trails leading elsewhere from the village!!!!

Levi runs outside as the demon slayer follows, outside we see two trails of blood, one pointing to the village, the other the forest

Levi- Yes!!!!!! I see one!!!!!!

Dami- Okay thank you

Levi- Why did you want to know

Dami- Shunji is here

At hearing this Levi tenses up as he looks at the blood, he then walks inside as the Demon Slayer follows, the two walk up stairs and see Shunji in Dami's arms crying

Shunji- *crying* He-He- He left me * sniff * He left me to die * sniff *

Dami felt sorry for Shunji as Levi did not feel a things, he stood there looking down on Shunji with disgust

" Well seems my duty here is done "

Shunji- No its not!!! * sniff * M-My father you have to find my father

" * sighs * Very well "

The Demon Slayer walks out as Levi stays there for a few minutes, he begins to walk away, but Dami calls him

Dami- Levi, whatever you do...please don't

Levi- ...... I love you Dami

That's all he said as Dami hugs Shunji who was confused, but feel asleep due to the shock, fear and crying he endured in one day

Outside the house we see Levi holding a knife, he looks at the blood trail and was about to move, until he heard a tree twig snap

He looks to his left and sees nothing but snow, he looks closer and closer as he sees a second trail of blood leading behind his home

He follows it, as the sound of man in pain is heard, he soon found himself behind Itchi Hanma who had lost a hand and eye

Levi pulls out his large knife, he silently made his way towards the man as he silently listens

He hears a gasp of air, followed by a slight cough,

Levi- Playing dead won't do you anything

Itchi looks up to see Levi, who had a blank stare, his crystal blue eyes turned a dark cyan color as he brought up the knife

Itchi attempts to push him away, but Levi already jumped back dodging the attacks as he lunges forward plunging the knife into Itchi's exposed chest

Itchi falls to his back due to the momentum and Levi kneels on his chest, he pulls out the knife and stabs him again

Itchi- W-Wait, s-s-s-stop please

He said weakly as Levi did not care, he just began to twist the knife

Levi- Why should I spare you, you're the same man who left his son to die

Itchi- How do you

Levi- A Demon Slayer arrived and saved him, he's currently in my home crying on my sister's shoulder him like the insufferable pig he is

Itchi- H-H-He's a-alive?

Levi- Yes he is

Levi slowly pulls out the knife as Itchi looks up into the sky not noticing the knife being pulled out. Suddenly Levi slashes Itchi's throat as he bleeds out with a smile

Itchi- Seems....you get....your rev-

He stops speaking as he chokes on his blood, Levi sits there as blood was being splurted from the wounds

Levi stands up and throws the knife into Itchi's chest as he hears no heartbeat, Levi walks back to his home as he sees Shunji with one of the bodyguards, the guard had one hand and one leg, he was .... barely alive

The Demon Slayer from before was still there assisting the man stand, they all wave goodbye to Dami and leave

As the group leave Levi walks out of the shadow and stood in front of Dami, Dami knelt down and opened her arms, Levi looked into her eyes and saw no hate, fear, disgust just love. He ran into her arms and hugged her

She began to pat his head, as Levi held his fist, but releases and began to shiver, as a small smile appears on his face followed by tears 

Levi- I-I-I k-killed him... a-and felt nothing.....but I'm smiling a-and crying..

Dami- Shh, I know it doesn't feel pleasant, but with time you'll forget and go back to our previous life of living 

Levi- No, I won't go back to living, I'll become a Demon Slayer 

Dami- ......But you don't have a breathing technique, and doing such a thing is-

Levi- I'll make one, and I'll kill demons and get us money, you won't have to do such things again

Dami- ......Levi...... you're still, you have to enjoy your childhood

Levi- My childhood was sold by that jerk of a father, so because of that I'll grow up fast and face these demons

Dami- .....

Dami saw the determination in his eyes and couldn't say no, no matter how much she wanted to

Dami- Fine, I'll give all my hope and prayers to you 

Levi- I don't need it, all I need is your happiness 

Dami was suprised by that, but smiles as she sees her brother is growing up, from killing the man who tortured them and promised to give them a wonderful life
