Scarlett's POV
We were all down at the beach as Chris explained today's challenge.
"Today's challenge will test your minds". Easy "Your teamwork". Hard "And your skills in the kitchen! You'll be cooking a three course meal and serving it to me for tasting. The winners get a reward, and the losers send someone home. Each team will appoint a head chef to create the theme of the meal, and oversee the cooking." Chris explained
"To cook, you need ingredients. Every morning a truck brings us food. Your challenge starts there".
A truck being driven by a dolphin pulled up. I rubbed my eyes, but it stayed there, so I guess it was real.
We walked to the truck.
"We could do a killer Italian theme!" I heard Geoff say
"Hello head chef!" Alex smiled
"Seriously? All right! Let's get grabbing!" Geoff cheered.
Confessional
Alex: This challenge will be easy for me, since when I was younger, maybe three or four, I spent a lot of time home alone, so I learnt how to cook, read, write, sing, play piano, pretty much everything most kids learn when they're about five or six.
End
"Head chef! Called it!" Heather said. She turned to Beth "Try not to mess up this time" she growled. Beth nodded nervously.
"Just ignore her girl" LeShawna said to Beth.
Heather started reciting a list of stuff she wanted us to grab. I just grabbed sugar, because I couldn't have cared less. We went to the camp kitchen
"Gwen, Lindsay, Scarlett, you're on the citrus upside-down cake flambe" Heather said
"Know how to make an upside-down flamer thingy?" Lindsay asked
"Excuse me 'Head chef' But wouldn't it be easier to make something we actually know how to make?" Gwen asked Heather
"I absolutely agree" I agreed
"Who's side are you on?" Heather asked fiercely
"Mine, duh" I said with an eyeroll. Heather slammed a cookbook down on the table.
"Figure. It. Out." she snarled.
Owen ended up dropping a bunch of oranges on the floor, so Heather sent him to get more.
When he came back, he decided to throw them at Trent, which knocked him out and gave him a concussion.
Alex's POV
We got to the kitchen.
"Ok, so, we got like three courses, and seven people. So everyone partner up. One team'll have three though" Geoff said
"I know how to make pasta sauce" Dj said
"I know how to boil pasta" Bridgette said. They high fived.
"Sadie and I can rock the antipasto. I'm like a black belt when it comes to cutting cheese." Harold said, making us laugh at his choice of words.
"I know how to make cannoli. That could be the dessert part" I offered
"Guess princess and I are gonna be helping" Duncan smirked, putting an arm around Courtney's shoulders.
"Oh no! No way!" Courtney said angrily.
"Come on Courtney. For the team!" Geoff said. He and Duncan tried to look innocent, which made them look incredibly suspicious.
