(Diluc x Male Reader Yaoi)~ Master Diluc never understood how much he needed someone until it was to late. His anger got the best of him driving the boy he knew all to well away perhaps into another man's arms.
Male Reader POV - I sat ontop of one of the roofs in Mondstadt slowly munching on some fisherman's toast sniffling still shaking up from the aftermath with Diluc.
Kaeya - I apologize with the display you had to witness with my brother
Male Reader - I've never seen him act like that before we've known eachother for years and this is the first he's had a meltdown
Kaeya - Well it certainly is surprising considering he's only had one other meltdown in the past
Male Reader - He was this upset before?
Male Reader POV - I saw Kaeya give me a sad smile before patting the top of my head. It seemed he's been doing that alot lately perhaps out of habit?
Kaeya - A long time ago our father has passed away I won't go into detail how but it was the one time my brother had a meltdown
Male Reader - I'm so sorry that happened to you both
Kaeya - I truly appreciate that...I'm able to keep my composure but Diluc is a different story he really loved and cared for our father
Male Reader - *Looks down*
Male Reader POV - I finished eating my toast before brushing off my hands drawing my knees up to my chest.
Kaeya - Diluc he...he really does love you
Male Reader - .....
Kaeya - May I ask you a question?
Male Reader - Y-yeah..
Male Reader POV - I looked up as Kaeya began to caress my face gently brushing my eyes dry still keeping a safe distance from me.
Kaeya - What do you think of me?
Male Reader - Huh? What do you mean?
Kaeya - ..What am I to you?
Male Reader POV - It took me a minute to process what he was saying soon shocked pulling back alittle.
Male Reader - Kaeya *Frowns*
Kaeya - *Smiles* Please don't be stressed with this question regardless of what the next words that come out of your mouth are I'll never allow myself to see you differently
Male Reader - *Sniffles*
Male Reader POV - My face began to get wet as he brushed my tears away he made my heart warm and was so caring but for some reason I couldn't give him the answer he desired.
Male Reader - I-I umm...You're always nice and kind to me
Kaeya - But?
Male Reader POV - I looked away ashamed suddenly feeling my back and neck rubbed.
Kaeya - It's Diluc am I right?
Male Reader - Kaeya I-I'm sorry I-
Kaeya - Shhh it's alright
Male Reader POV - I felt like crying again ashamed of myself I've just rejected someone and here he was ok with it I felt like a monster.
Kaeya - Hey look up *Whispers*
Male Reader - Huh?
Male Reader POV - Confused I looked up my eyes instantly lit up seeing a trail of yellow glitter in the sky
Male Reader - It's beautiful!

Diluc POV - I saw the door open as Adelinde walked in with a plate of food.
Adelinde - Master Diluc are you ok? You haven't ate dinner
Diluc POV - I've begun to sit up stretching alittle still frowning as the lady walked over setting the plate down on the table next to me.
Diluc - I'm so embarrassed
Adelinde - Mr. Charles told me everything that has happened at Angel's Share...I'm sorry for what you went through
Diluc POV - She gently put a hand on my shoulder but I pulled away feeling emotionally in pain.
Diluc - Please tell me what's the time? How long have I been laying in this bed?
Adelinde - Sir it's past midnight you've been in here for hours
Diluc - *Shakes head* I should be out looking for (Y/N)!
Adelinde - You need your rest sir I'm sure he'll be alright
Diluc - How could you say that!? Damnit he needs to be safe! I love him!!
Diluc POV - I gasped at my own words looking down embarrassed only for Adelinde to raise my chin giving a warm smile.
Adelinde - I know Sir I've known for awhile
Diluc - *Tears*
Adelinde - He'll be alright I promise please get rest you can look for him tomorrow
Diluc POV - Giving in my body made it's way back down into the mattress slowly closing my eyes.
