It's been an hour since I left the house and I couldn't stop thinking about what Krystal possibly wanted to talk about. She looked so distraught and tired when I left.  I needed us on the same page so that things will start to make sense to her.

I leaned back in the seat and looked out the window. I've travelled this route every week but something felt odd today. I'm praying that there aren't any complications with this transition because I really want to get back to her and sort out whatever is going on in her head.

Julian made eye contact with me from the rearview mirror, "we're here".

I nodded and proceeded to grab the briefcase when I felt my phone buzz.

Sean.

This wasn't expected. I know he can handle any threats on his own so this had to be about Krystal.

"Speak"

"Sir, Krystal is looking for your car, she says you left a gift for her? How should I proceed?"

A gift huh? What is she gonna come up with next? I couldn't tell if she was impressed with the Audi the other night but I guess she was. But why lie that I left a gift for her? If she wants the car it's hers, why didn't she wait for me to get back though?

"Bring her to it, the black Audi, give her whatever she's asking for but if she wants to go for a ride, you need to follow her. People know her face so you know she's not safe on her own. Make sure she doesn't see you, I don't want her feeling smothered"

Sean chuckled. "Of course don".

I could tell this was amusing for him, I didn't mind as long as he keeps her safe when I'm not around. He knows his place and I think he's smart enough to know not to cross that line.

I stepped out of the jeep and walked over to the group of men waiting. I shook my head still thinking about her.

"Agolli, it's good to see that you've joined us" Eryk shouted out as I closed the distance between us. He is an ally of sorts. He worked with father while he was in charge and I still had respect for him, something that was rare nowadays.

"Eryk, good to see you, let's keep things short today, I have places to be" I said as I passed him to inspect the guns laid out.

"Always in a rush, just like your old man" he grinned. Being compared to that piece of shit made my blood boil but I didn't need to get into that with Eryk now. I needed to get back to the estate and talk to this woman. I swear she's gonna make me lose my mind.

"Everything looks good", I handed him the briefcase and motioned the men to come and take the crate.

"Not so fast, I just want you to know that I'm still on your side, after everything that happened with the Russians", he rested a hand on my left shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze.

I patted his back and walked away. Now was not the time for this.

I hurried over to the jeep and Julian sped off.  We still had over an hour before we made it into Tirana so I decided it was best to go through some emails. My business endeavours weren't going to run themselves and I had the time now.

I grabbed my phone and realized I had a missed call from Sean. I must have been zoned out that I didn't feel it vibrate in my pocket.

I quickly dialled him and he picked up on the first ring "Krystal, just turned into TIA".

"What!?" I shouted, causing the other men to look back at me, awaiting instructions on what the next move would be.

"Ye-yea, she just parked in Terminal 1"he said sounding petrified.
