I clung to the phone wishing he was still on the line. God did I miss his voice, his little touches, his presence overall. Who would have thought this distance between us would make me crave him like this. I can recall countless nights that I had hoped when I open my eyes he'd appear in front of me.

I decided that I would give into my feelings once and for all. Live a little. I wanted him so fucking badly, or at least wanted him to fuck me, I don't know. I was ready to try again.

I'll have to ask Elsie where we could go that's private. I really dont want his entire family hearing me scream his name. I wonder if he'd get turned on by that? If they were strangers and I got a little tipsy I think I would.

I ran my finger over the rugged diamond. It was so beautiful, such a shame I gained it in a way that it had to be hidden. I always imagined after I'd get engaged I'd call Imani right away and scream 'guess who's getting married', I'd post on my Instagram with a hearty caption saying how happy I was and that I was ready to spend my life with this person. We'd even take cheesy engagement pictures.

I'll have to try and not think about it as much and enjoy whatever this is. I do wish I had Imani here with me but I truly do understand why things are the way they are.

There was a gentle knock on the door,

Alteo?!?

No he wouldn't be here already...

"Come in" I called out.

"Hi beautiful"

I blushed at the new nick name Elsie has been adamant about using with me. She was such a flirt and if I were bi I think I'd fuck her too.

"Els hey, I was just coming to find you actually."

"Yea? What's up?"

She sat on the opposite side of the bed but was close enough that I could smell her perfume. I'd have to ask her what brand it was, it wasn't particularly sweet, it had a crisp clean smell with the tiniest hint of floral.

"So Alteo is coming back today, I was hoping you knew somewhere private we could you know...." I trailed on.

She laughed and wiggled her eyebrows
"Agolli is returning and you need him to yourself, I'll do you one better, I'll get everyone out of the house and you guys do the nasty, I mean rekindle your love here"

I reached over and playfully slapped her knee "stopp don't kill me, wont it be disrespectful to your parents though? If we fuck here?"

"Please, I've been getting railed in these walls for years, what they don't know won't hurt them. What time is he coming?"

"I'm not sure, he only told me soon" I laughed unknowingly.

She sprung out of bed, "his soon is 10 mins away, I'll get rid of them, we'll be back by 7 tonight."

I hugged her "I owe you one, thank you"

"Yea you do, have fun!"

I was growing impatient. He should be here by now. I know he didn't give me a specific time and this is exactly why. With his line of work, things can change so quickly. I couldn't help but think of the worst case scenario, what if someone attacked him on his way here?

Elsie and her family had left an hour ago and I had gotten ready for him, as promised. I shaved my legs, put perfume on, I even wore the cute lingerie Elsie helped me pick out.

Suddenly none of the mattered and I quickly dialed his number. It went straight to voicemail. Okay that happens sometimes right? I called again but the outcome was the same.
