Chapter Three: The Best Shakes in Town

We get to Joes Diner and this place is packed. They must actually be really good to have this many people. A lot of the people there look my age. There's cheerleaders, football players, baseball players all the players you can name and there inside.

We find a parking spot in the back and get down the diner is cute and has lots of neon signs of burgers and shakes and fries. Hopefully it's as good as they say.

"There's a high school called momentum high school that's just a 10 mins from here that's the school you'll be attending tomorrow." My dad says

"Starting tomorrow ? That's so soon I didn't expect to start so soon" I say getting a little worried

"Well I figured the sooner you start the less catch up work you have to do."

"Yeah I guess that makes sense."

We get inside the diner and don't find a single table. But everyone's eyes turn towards me like they know I'm from out of town.

"Maybe we should just order take out and head to the house" I suggest

"Yeah that's a great idea Kendall look at the menu and order whatever you like" Lara says handing me a menu

"Hey Joe how are looks like the place is popping today." Lara says to Joe

"More like everyday Lara it's nice to see you guys and who's this little lady with you guys" Joe says

He's a small old man with a little pink apron that says Joe.

"That's my daughter Kendall she just moved here from California." My dad says

I let out a small hello.

"Well what can I get started for ya guys."

My dad and Lara place there order laughing at some jokes with Joe. I turn around and look at everyone in the diner the cheerleaders with the football players classic. Everyone knows everyone everyone has their designated group and me I'm the new girl who has nobody and knows nobody.

"Alright there's your guys order you guys enjoy nice meeting ya Kendall." Joe says as he hands us our food

As we start to walk out a black suv pulls in blasting music they park in the front and a bunch of guys come out. All of them are exactly the same tall and brooding bodies nice smiles with serious eyes. All of them wearing black jeans white shirt or just black on black. I look away and just follow Lara and my dad to the car until I heard one of the guys yell

"Yo Alec hurry your ass out the car I'm starving man."

I turn around and see Alec get out of the car catching up to the other guys he laughs and says

"You just ain't an hour ago what are you a baby who needs to eat every 2 hours" Alec says laughing at his friends

"Dude it's bulking season." His one friend says

"Yeah yeah it's bulking season every season for you" Alex responds and all the guys laugh

"Kendall hunny are you coming." Lara says I instantly turn around and walk back towards the car but in the corner of my eye I see Alec look in my direction watching me get in the car.

Did he notice me.

Gosh I hope not.

The drive back to my dads house was fairly short turns out he lives close my new school and Joe's Diner. The house was big two stories.

As we pull into the driveway of the house my dad points out a window in the front of the house on the second story.

"That right there is your room and right in that garage is your car your aunt Jess was telling me you were already driving and working Lara and I figured you could have her car to take you to school and other stuff you might want to do when you make friends." My dad says
