Chapter Four: First Day of School

"KENNY WAKE UP FOR SCHOOL!" Nolan and Nathan barge into my room yelling and laughing at me jumping on my bed.

While they are here having a blast I'm over here trying to catch up to my heart that's beating out of my chest.

"Boys! Get over here right now you never barge into someone's room like that. It's called privacy you knock first now go downstairs and eat your breakfast." My dad says.

"Sorry Kenny." They murmured and ran out the room.

"No no it's okay I didn't mind." When I truly did but they were my brothers maybe that's how little brothers act.

"Sorry about them Kenny are you well rested today is a big day." My dad comes on and takes a seat on the bed next to me.

"Yeah some what I'm just a little nervous." I say

"You'll do great you'll meet lots of new friends I can guarantee it." My dad says

I just smile up at him

"I'll let you get ready. When you are Lara made breakfast downstairs."

"Thank you." As I start to get up to get ready.

I go in the bathroom first washing my face brushing my teeth and trying to figure out what I should do with my hair.

Might as well just brush it out and straighten it who am I trying to impress anyways.

I settle with pulling on some jeans and cropped shirt because it's summer and it's hot out plus I don't feel the need to dress to impress.

I take one more look in the mirror and am content with the way I look. I grab my bag and make sure I have all I need phone keys wallet check and check I head downstairs and say my goodbyes.

"Have a good day at school Kenny you'll do great!" My dad shouts as I'm closing the front door.

While I'm closing the front door the next door neighbor is also leaving as well he's a guy wearing all black his hair is messy in a cute way he's lean and tall and holds himself together with a lot of confidence he turns and he gets to his black car in the drive way.

I'm just looking at him he seems to notice my stare and turns my way pulling some black sunglasses on. It's just a simple nod he sends my way and he gets in his car and races off.

I could already tell he's trouble.

He's a guy with a lot of secrets.

Why do I want to uncover and know all his secrets.

Why did I want to run my hands through his messy hair.

I snap out of it and unlock my car plugging my phone into the charger and start the directions to school.

I'm getting butterflies in my stomach as I come closer and closer to school. I hate the feeling of being the new girl. Not knowing my way around and being clueless.

It absolutely sucks.

I pull into the parking structure and I'm absolutely shocked.

My mouth hanging open wide a fly might as well just go inside my mouth.

This school is freaking huge. I have never seen a school this big in my entire well being.

Why the hell does a small town have this big of a damn high school.

The school is three stories high windows are everywhere and right in the front is the sign Momentum High. And there's a huge banner on the side of some high school students in cheer uniform and football players.
