Freja and Elias stood silent, watching the crowd continue to dance and chat. She couldn't understand why he wanted to protect Anna from himself. It made no sense to her. But she didn't want to ask and make him uncomfortable. It wasn't her place to pry.

She noticed Anna and a tall handsome gentleman pushing through the crowd and heading their way. The determination on Anna's face was looking pretty scary.

"Elias!" Anna shouted as she ran up to her brother. She slowed down and curtsied. "I mean... King. It's me again. May I present Prince Hans of the Southern Isles?"

Elias glanced over to the male as he bowed. "Your majesty," Hans said softly. Elias bowed to him in return.

Freja watched the exchange, a weird feeling in her gut. Something seems off about this Prince. She watched as the couple held each other, hopeful looks on their faces.

"We would like--"

"---you blessing--"

"--of--"

"--Our marriage!" They finished together, causing Elias and Freja's eyes to widen.

"Marriage...?" Elias asked confused. Anna nodded her head, smiling dreamily at Hans. "I'm sorry, I'm confused."

Freja could tell by the look on the Kings face, he wasn't happy with their request. "But..." she began but Anna cut her off, not realizing she did.

"Well, we haven't worked out all the details ourselves. We'll need a few days to plan the ceremony. Of course, we'll have soup, roast, and ice cream, and then-- Wait. Would we live here?" Anna rambled on in excitement.

"Here?" Elias looked back at his sister, worry written all over his face. "Anna-" he tried to stop her but she couldn't stop rambling.

"Oh, we can invite all twelve of your brothers to stay with us--"

"What?" Freja was even more confused. Didn't they just meet and want to immediately get married? That seems sketchy, at least to her.

"No, no, no, no." Elias shook his head, stunned by his sister's statement. "Anna-"

She had cut him off again. "Of course, we have the room. I don't know. Some of them must--"

Elias had enough and raised his voice a little. "Anna. Slow down. No brothers are staying here." This gained Anna's attention, so he continued. "No one is getting married."

Anna looked at her brother in complete shock. She didn't expect him to deny their request. "Wait, what?"

Elias let out a sigh, running his gloved fingers through his hair. "You just met him a few hours ago. You can't just marry him." The king noticed Freja was staring down at Hans, worry, and confusion written on her face. He glanced back at his sister. "May I talk to you, please? Alone."

Anna hooked her arms with Hans. She looked up at him and shared a worried look then back at her brother. "No. Whatever you have to say, you- you can say to both of us." She stated, shaking her head.

Elias couldn't help but glance over at Freja. They just met as well but maybe she could give a little advice. Freja hesitated before she spoke what she was thinking, well some of it anyway. "Anna, you can't just marry someone you just met. Your brother isn't wrong to deny."

The red-haired girl glanced at Freja. "You can if it's true love," she argued back like a stubborn child.

"Anna, what do you know about true love?" Elias narrowed his eyes at his sister.

Anna rolled her eyes. "More than you. All you know is how to shut people out." She accused her voice raising.

Elias's eye's widened in disbelief. "Anna!" He warned, straightening up. His face drained out of all emotions. "You asked for my blessing, but my answer is no. Now, excuse me."
