Bob Costas: Welcome to racing's greatest day! We're beachside at the Florida International Speedway to kick off a new season of Dog and Cat racing. It's the Florida 500.
Darrell Waltrip: 43 people in a quarter million fans await today's intense contest of strategy, skill but most of all speed. This crowd is in for one great day of racing.
Bob Costas: I'm Bob Costas joined as always by my broadcasting partner Darrell Waltrip and stat sensation Lacie Serbin.
Lacie Serbin: I've never seen the numbers lineup for Blake Superior like they do today, Bob. Blake should be ninety-six-point eight percent unstoppable.
Bob Costas: Well, don't overlook Martha and her friends.
[Meanwhile at a bar, Loona and the IMPS are watching the TV]
Loona: Martha!
Bob Costas: We've heard stories of the unusual way Martha and her friends trained to get here. Now the question is: Did it work?
[We then cut inside the trailer of Manny's trailer where we see Dan getting ready for the race]
Dan: Speed. I am... speed?
[Manny knocks on the trailer door]
Manny: Hey Dan, they are calling the racers to the track.
Dan: (Sighs)
Announcer: Jeff Gorden, how does today's talent stack up?
Jeff Gorden: Oh, I think we're in for a treat today. These racers- Hey guys, win one for us old guys.
Dan: Will do Jeff.
Sylvester: Will do it Jeff.
Carolina: Hey there, guys.
Martha: Hey guys.
Mariella: Guys.
Sara: Hey, Guys.
Charlotte's Grandmother: Are you okay?
Sara: Yeah, yeah... Absolutely.
Charlotte's Grandfather: Listen, you all are gonna do great today. And no matter what happens... we're going to move onto the next dog and forget I ever knew you.
